There are a lot more tutorials which were written on earlier versions 2-8, and for PD Howler, and as long as it doesn’t need animation or vdeo, much of that can also be applied to PD Artist 9.6 / 10, so start here:

Again, It shows as made for Howler because it also covers some info on animation, but as long as you ignore the animation part, and focus on the painting and filters for a single still image, you can use this manual also with PD ARtist.Hoping this, helps, happy waffling and painting!
