Installed w/o any problem at all. Tried it on one of my PDF textbook manuscripts from my publisher, and it did a near-perfect job converting it to text. I’d say 10x better job than Acrobat 9 did! Maybe newer Acrobat is more accurate, but this software is a keeper for me!

McAfee flagged the download file as dangerous on my W10 PC.

Installation was a breeze. This programs where other programs failed to convert from PDF to Word. I tested other features with no issues. I’m impressed by the results. I recommend this program.

I have my computer configured a little differently from the norm.
The account I use all the time is a regular user without administrator rights so when I install applications I do it under a different account with Administrator rights.
I’ve installed the application under the account with Administrator rights, gone to run it as my regular user and it reports “Problem with shortcut The item ‘PTX.exe’ that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Do you want to delete this shortcut?”
When I check the shortcut the application installs to
    [Administrator userprofile path]\AppData\Roaming\PDF Helper\PDF to X\
This is definately not somewhere an application should install to – how would another user on the computer use the application?

Would someone from Trisun software please confirm if the application has installed to the correct location.

further to my previous post, I copied all the files across to my regular account in to the same location: “%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\PDF Helper\PDF to X” and tried running the application – it crashed with the following error:

When you can convert pdf files to docx files, which are, according to an article I recently read, used by 98.7% of all MS Word users, then you’ll have something worthwhile. Sure, I can copy a doc file into the clipboard and then insert it into a freshly opened empty Word file and then save it but why should I bother to do that when there are so many free online PDF to docx converters.

    Please join the 21st century.

It crashes when launching it in my very old, 32-bit Windows XP Pro SP3: https://image.prntscr.com/image/y7ns_PC4RIGkXIryeF7cGg.gif

It gives an error when converting to Word DOC file in an updated 64-bit W7 HPE SP1: http://picpaste.com/pics/PDF2DOCfailedIn64W7-QIcwpOat.1502392123.gif

    Buggy! :(

This program seems buggy. I cannot convert to a Word document (*.doc) as shown in my online http://picpaste.com/pics/PDF2DOCfailedIn64W7-QIcwpOat.1502392123.gif screen shot/capture. I reported this and my 32-bit Windows XP Pro SP3 issues to its support e-mail address.
