Question: what is the advantage of using print2flash, rather than just converting your doc to PDF? PDF is the universal solution to the dilemma of the recipient not having the correct application to open the document you have created. PDF renders your document to a format, that virtually anyone can open, on any computer and have it look the same as your original creation. Any possible benefit of print2flash seems redundant.

yreply user=’Mister Lee’ id=’6081348′] Yes, you may use PDF for that. However, you’ll still need a PDF viewer on your computer or phone and Print2Flash does not requires it – all you need is a browser. An additional bonus is you can display a document right inside the web page altogether with other content and users don’t have to leave the website in order to view the document. Also, the document may act as a part of your web site or web application as there is an API for Print2Flash documents.

[@Stavros] If you can’t convert a document with Convert button, you just need to open your document in an application (e.g. in Adobe Reader or WPS Office) and print it on the virtual printer named Print2Flash 4 Printer.

Installing from the hub crashed my Windows 7 computer. Saving the installer and running it from the Downloads ran until the following error popped up:

Windows can’t install the Print2Flash 4 Printer Driver kernel-mode print driver. To obtain a driver that is compatible with the version of Windows you are running, contact the manufacturer.

Now when uninstalling, I cannot get rid of P2FShellExt64.dll as it is running as a shell extension in explorer

Had to kill and restart Explorer to be rid of it. Pity, could have been useful.
