Chinese companies must, by law, give access to all their information to their government. and I’m supposed to give them my password to my “safe disk”? let it encrypt (read and write) all my personal and business data?

Sounds interesting and worth a go. Qiling has other creditable products, which have been gifted from time to time. You have to laugh when certain westerners worry about “China” (oo-er!) spying on them, when their own government are doing the same thing. And which sounds more scary: being spied upon by some far-off country which has nothing to gain from spying upon you personally? Or being spied upon by your own government, which has deep and nefarious reasons and much to gain from spying on you?

This app can be used as a tool to create useful virtual disks that may even surpass some features of the current Windows file system (ntfs/exfat/etc). For example, it supports copy-on-write and also offers automatically in-line deduplication—features that make it truly worth using.

What is the difference from (VDfCrypt, FreeCrypt), (TrueCrypt. VeraCrypt)? Does she know how to encrypt flash drives, like TrueCrypt did? (if you insert an encrypted USB flash drive into your computer, Windows will ask you to format it and you can “play” on it: “You see, the flash drive has gone bad,” and then use it calmly)

The old program names and the new ones are shown in parentheses.

I installed Safe Disk on my thumb drive, and the GUI starts up with no issues.
I see where Windows 10 recognizes it as an installed app, so I don’t imagine I can run this as a portable app; but no problem – thanks for the giveaway :-)
