For torrenting purposes this is the LimeWire of companies. Data vanishes with no explanation and no support.

It is appreciated that they offer a free year.
But there is no point in using a VPN that records all your
internet activities – this is not privacy.

I just tested this VPN on my Comcast Gigabit Internet speed, which is about 1,000 Mbps and that is with an Ethernet wired connection.
I have my laptop connected via 5G WiFi and here are my test speeds at http://www.speedtest.net:
Without VPN my normal speeds are: 533 Mbps down, 40 Mbps up.
With this VPN my speeds slowed down a bit to: 339 Mbps down, 38 Mbps up.
I also did a wired connection test:
Normal speeds were: 916 Mbps down, 41 Mbps up.
With this VPN: 620 Mbps down, 40 Mbps up.
I think these are acceptable speeds as ALL VPNs do slow down, of course the less slowdown the better.

I receive this error code when trying to create a free account: Failure
    Invalid promo code

So, so far, useless to test this. I am willing to pay for a good VPN (I use one for FOIA writing, not stealing from IP developers). But, if I cannot access the test of the app, not sure I’d go to buy it. Testing these apps BEFORE I buy them is the ENTIRE point of SharewareOnSale.

For those who receive “invalid promo code” message, just add a space after your activation code.
    Ex:
If your code is “4645etgxd” then “4645etgxd “

    Hi D3bj,

This is Alex from Seed4Me VPN.

Yes, that’s correct: existing users can get +6 months with the voucher, new users can get +1 year with promo code.

Dear Don! I believe we fixed it. For additional security, you can manually disable IPv6 in your OS settings.

    Example (Windows):

    1. Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings

    2. Go through ALL items there (Ethernet, Ethernet 2, Wi-Fi, etc.) and Disable IPv6 for all:
Right-click on item > Properties > Remove tick next to “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)”
