Sh*t, theres no free acount….365 days left….so sad
There were 2 pages of discussion on SOS about this offer, good and bad, where are they now? What is the point of having discussion on SOS if comments get removed? There may have been something that went beyond the T&Cs of SOS but the ones I saw were the usual types I see on here, nothing rude etc
It takes time to add comments to this discussion set up, the infernal recaptcha can go on and on and….on…and on My comments were not positive on seed4.me, I followed up on them with updates which again were not positive. They did not provide what was stated on SOS and their customer service was lacking a lot. Why are the comments not on here now, mine and other peoples’?
Is censorship part of the SOS ‘experience’ now?
This is horrible software. Does not work well, installed on sandbox virtual pc. to protect my pc. this software effectively gives the company the right to install anything on your pc.

[ @Ashraf] Thanks for the feedback Ashraf. I appreciate this site and have got some good software for free through it, even buying some of that later on! People tend to post negative things in the way of feedback, a bad experience tends to be a better motivator to do so. I’ve posted good and bad reviews, as well as both +ve and -ve comments about various things. Previously I remember there being more than 2 pages of discussion about some software, which is why I reacted the way I did when I found my earlier comments in this thread had seemingly vapourised. My initial comment had been about how I had only got a 7 day license and stated that I’d feedback on progressing with changing that, which is what I’d done in later comments. Then whoosh….no comments!

Thank you.After using with the code 19 provided, every 5 minutes a pop-up window comes up blocking the screen, asking to upgrade. This is very annoying especially the icon at the right side bottom says: Protected until 30 January 2020. What a joke!
I successfully installed and activated this despicable and garbage program but I uninstalled immediately after I found out that this horrible, sneaky and dirty program insists in their TOS (Terms of Service) that the providers of this evil program can install other programs that they want in your computer.
This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.
You must be a moron or an idiot to allow this.
I highly recommend NOT to install this bad and terrible program.
A question to Ashraf:
Did you know about this terrible condition of this horrible and evil program when you provided it here?
You should NEVER allow such evil shenanigans. NEVER.7 free days. but you add 1$ /day.
What a jokeSTAY FAR AWAY from this software:
1. There appears to be no P2P torrent support. The name of the company and software is seed4me, which strongly implies that the company and software are built upon seeding, presumably torrents, which the software doesn’t support “to anonymize; you can still torrent, but most users will be under the misapprehension that their IP is hidden”. This means that SOMEONE other than the user is seeding something with this software, most likely the company. My guess is that the company chose this name to market to other companies who pay for seeding adverts by injecting outside info into the stream after obtaining target information from user traffic.
2. This brings me to my next objection: the Terms of Service are Draconian (that is being nice) at best. I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO READ THE TERMS OF SERVICE FOR THIS SOFTWARE PRIOR TO INSTALLING.
If you read the excellent post by user AP87 in the reviews section for this software (you are currently in Discussion, not reviews), he goes into great detail about the horrible TOS. In his excellent review of the TOS, there is one part that should make your hair stand on end. While there are plenty of other parts of the TOS that alone would give me great pause about this software, this particular part easily decided for me to NOT INSTALL.“Seed4.Me reserves the right to install, manage and operate one or more software, monitoring or other solutions designed to assist us in identifying and/or tracking activities that we consider to be illegal or violations of these ToS’s. ”
They reserve the right to INSTALL, MANAGE AND OPERATE ONE OR MORE SOFTWARE…OR OTHER SOLUTIONS.. They are saying they have the right to install ANYTHING on your computer that “(they) consider to be illegal or violations”. Note that it doesn’t say IS illegal or violations, but what (they) consider. So if someone at seed4me CONSIDERS (opinion) there MIGHT be a TOS violation, they can install any software they want, as long as it, in their opinion, will “assist us in identifying and/or tracking activities that we CONSIDER to be illegal or (TOS violations).
If you install this software and thus agree to the TOS you are essentially authorizing the company to “manage or operate” ANY software they want on your device.
COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.
I would like to thank ASHRAF for an outstanding site that I use almost daily and for not censoring user posts. He has always exhibited the utmost integrity regarding this.
Finally, I would again like to acknowledge and thank sharewareonsale user AP87 for going through the TOS and finding these landmines. Please read his post: it is incredibly informative, detailed, and alarming.
