Nice FREE as a giveaway BUT hardly worth paying for otherwise, especially since I find that SUP Software Update Pro by Glary Utilities FilePuma seems to conflict with or ignore or override other installers and update programs, like FREE Ninite and FREE IObit Updater ( and inside the update features of FREE IObit Uninstaller and FREE IObit Advanced System Care ) and FREE FileHippo Updater and so on, each program claiming something the other program just installed is not really installed, and so SUP offers to blindly update programs again, and again, and again, even programs it supposed just installed itself.

    — Name wise, this is an INSTALLER, not just an updater, and the pro version can quickly install programs that are not already installed, much like FREE Ninite and FREE IObit Installer and other FREE installer and updater programs.

    — Design wise, there is poor differentiation on screen between what is already installed, what is up to date, and what can be updated.

    — Information wise, there is no information about what any potentially installable programs from the list does, so you have to leave the SUP Software Update Pro by Glary Utilities FilePuma program, and then manually look up programs you are not familiar with — what are [ The Bat! ] or [ The Brain ] ? There is no explanation on screen, and right-clicking does NOTHING, no explanation there, and no link to “look it up”.

    — Design wise, the [ Updates ] display eliminates the ability to also install other programs that are not installed yet, so be aware that the [ Updates ] is only for updates, BUT those same updates can be ALSO seen and engaged on the [ Home ] installation AND updates screen along with installing other programs that are not installed yet.

    — Function wise, it installed Revo Uninstaller in Spanish on my US English computer, and I had to do a bunch of click-guessing because Revo does not understand how to make visually distinctive [ X ] and [ -> ] buttons regardless of their language wording content ( nor do they have an obvious “change language” option once the program is on screen … AND the program DID come on screen, overlaying SUP Software Update Pro by Glary Utilities FilePuma, definitely NOT a “silent” installation … what a mess!

    — Function wise, installations are not always silent, as FREE Ninite seems to be able to accomplish, so you must stay with this program, and this compromises it’s promised remote installation capability ( which I have not tested ) which would invariably fail and leave a user screen on another computer in the middle of a bunch of installation screens — Revo and FoxIT both awaited user interaction.

    — Function wise, it always claims that Silverlight and .NET are not installed, even after it supposedly installs them itself.

    Recommendations:

    — SUP Software Update Pro by Glary Utilities FilePuma requires MANUAL monitoring and MANUALLY compensating for errors, and as such is only useful for a technically responsible person who can take 100% responsibility for the entire computer.

    — NOT to be recommended to others, NOT for end users, without caveats, especially not for the uninitiated who do not know how to audit and troubleshoot their own computer.

    — It’s a nice tool that can misbehave even if you watch it constantly.

    — It is NOT an exclusive tool, in that I prefer FREE Ninite, FREE IObit Updater, FREE FileHippo Updater BEFORE even openign up SUP Software Update Pro by Glary Utilities FilePuma.

    — Until SUP Software Update Pro by Glary Utilities FilePuma fixes misbehaviors, redesigns the user interface to be more informative and controllable regarding what’s installed, what can be installed, what’s updated, and what can be updated, I can only recommend this to technicians as one tool among many, and way down the list of tools to implement the promised functions.

If you need good software for updating your apps, try to use Patch My PC Home Updater.
I using it for a long time and it works great.

Thanks for your response, [@Beetzme2], I’m glad to share, not just to help fellow SOSers, but to get the program designers off their duff and improve their programs!

[ Malik ] as a review of this and may be confusing this with other programs, because my response to the review on SOS page is:

    — NO this does NOT “help you update all your installed application”, NOR “automatically scans and displays a list of all your installed applications”, NOR “Automatically scans and lists all your applications”.

    — It has a very limited list of programs it can install and or update.
