I followed the directions, got an email from Steganos that did NOT contain a serial number, so I can register and use the program.
Thank you. The program installed correctly and is working well.
I also use Opera as one of the reviewers posted.
Since it doesn’t clear the traces in Opera I won’t be trying it.
I don’t understand why it won’t work with Opera since Opera is a Chrome engined browser.
I hope the reviewer Denis Nelson is correct about this as it’s my main reason for not trying Steganos Privacy Suite 19 .Und nun sichert ganz schnell Euren PC sonst komme ich schnüffeln, Euer Tippi
Thanks to Tippi for this nice hint @DealDoktorThe download page text is not accurate. It suggests that after visiting the page where the user fills in their e-mail address, they will receive an e-mail with the serial number. That would be a one-step process.
What is not explained is that 1st e-mail instead has a link that must be clicked. It will take the user to a page that then states that the user will receive an e-mail with the serial number.
Now, when the user goes back to their e-mail they should find a second e-mail that has the serial number. This is a two-step process.
The 1st e-mail is a common “confirmation” link. Too bad the download page does not explain this two-step process to get the serial number.

I don’t know if it does but just pointing that out. That’s the problem with recycling these old reviews on this site whenever something is offered. There should be some sort of expiration date. Who knows how much has changed in 2 years!
