ron kleinGuestAll went well until i was denied the download after it zipped the file, so not for me
Jeff WilliamsGuestExactly the same as previous poster, it starts zipping the file, says it’s ready to download, almost completes then fails and you have to start all over again with the same result.
A complete and utter waste of time.Paul GirardinGuestIt failed to download the files in one huge zip but I was able to access them by downloading individual parts one at a time.
It just takes patience
Mr.DaveGuestHow much space do these 3000 files take? Is it possible to preview them online and separately download the ones you want to use? Can they be downloaded later? Is there a way to filter or search by genre or feel of the music (keywords or tags)? What format are the files (if MP3, what bit rate is used)?
Mr.DaveGuest[@Mr.Dave] Ok, I got most of my answers from the FAQ on their website. Note that if you download the “-Music” folder from the main list, you get Download 2, Download 3 and Download 4. If you double-click -Music folder, you see there’s also a Download 1 that you didn’t get. Not sure how much of that happens with all the other top-level folders…. I checked all the files with 7-Zip and none had any errors. I checked the total size of the downloaded .zip files, it was 22.8 Gb!
I’m having fun checking out some of the contents, it would take days or weeks to through it all. Trying to think of how I can use the “Red Fox Howling at Night” file, in Sound Effects. Now I know that’s what I heard in the woods behind our house :)
LeeGuestSimilar to the earlier comments, the approach is quite non-sensical when is zips and downloads.
THEN, when one extracts EVERY SINGLE ARCHIVE is marked as CORRUPT.
REALLY?
