VIVEK PRITMANIGuestit does not ask me to set master password during installation andnow require login password what should i do?? plzz help
Fjodr SoyevskjiGuest[@VIVEK PRITMANI] At the end of the installation the “HTTP/REST Configuration Wizard” runs automatically and gives you 3 choices:
- Zero Configuration
- Quick And Easy
- Advanced Configuration
If you choose “Quick and Easy” or “Advanced” you will be requested to set your own SuperAdmin password. Instead, if you choose Zero Configuration it will create one automatically for you, and all the information you need to access will be written in a file on your desktop. Open the “Start Here” file on your desktop to find all your initial authentication data. You can then log in and change the SuperAdmin and Admin passwords if you don’t like them.

In the “template.html”:
URL to connect as SuperAdmin from localhost: https://%INTERNALIP%/go/
URL to connect as SuperAdmin from the Internet: https://%EXTERNALIP%/go/
SuperAdmin password: %SAPASSWORD%
Your first virtual server (default) was already created for you. In order to manage and configure it you will need to connect as an Administrator. Your first Administrator account for this virtual server was already created, and you can find its login information here below.
URL to connect as Administrator from localhost: https://%INTERNALIP%/go-default/
URL to connect as Administrator from the Internet: https://%EXTERNALIP%/go-default/
Administrator username: admin
Administrator password: %ADMINPASSWORD%

Mark MagillGuest[@Adam] Adam: I Just tested that link directly from your message at 1:00 PM Pacific time and it worked fine. Try it again, if there was a problem before it’s apparently been fixed. Good luck — Mark
OlivierGuestThe REST service eats all my Windows physical memory in a few seconds.
I used version 2 (free edition) in the past for development purposes, but now I will consider to stop using it.
Nice, but unusable. Uninstalled!

Fjodr SoyevskjiGuest[@Ivan] Hello, sorry Windows XP is supported as a legacy compatibility version, so please make sure your system has all updates/upgrades and is not running any 3rd-party (non-Microsoft) software that may interact with the Winows Firewall. In any case that error won’t prevent you from using our software, you will simply have to open the ports (20-21-22-989-990-4443) on your Windows Firewall manually. Thank you for your patience.
Fjodr SoyevskjiGuest[@Olivier] Sorry our product did not work as expected on your system. We have several thousands of customers who are using Syncplify.me Server! v4 without any issues, so I am positive this issue is limited to your machine/configuration/OS specifically. Feel free to contact us with additional details if you have reason to believe (and data tu sipport) that it’s a bug in our software, and we’ll be happy to help. Thank you!
