You say, in your DIRECTIONS, “The download link for Text-R OCR is given to you above. Download and install Text-R OCR. After install, run it. Upon launch, you’ll be running the 14-day trial period by default. Click the REGISTER NOW at the top menu/navigation.”
The Link is the link to your hub, not to the trial, so that didn’t work from that – I just got a code (no password).
I then downloaded the regular trial from their site and installed (14 days, works), but there is NO “top menu/navigation” in that, so no “Register now” to click, just “Buy”, at the bottom.
Further tries ended up with “your code is not valid / has already been used”.
Where / how can I find the SPECIFIC trial with the above-mentioned menu?

This download then is NOT SharewareOnSale_Giveaway_Text-R_OCR_Software_Professional_Edition.exe (this always fails, since it’s just another hub that fails again), BUT this downloads “textrVV.exe”, and THAT ONE then installs correctly; the menu you mentioned is to be found nowhere it seems (but not necessary then).
So this may help others.I confirmed the licensekey. I didn t get a second email with ID, so I could not succeed in getting Text-R OCR Software Professional Edition / Sep 22 2022. I tried a second time and got message key already used already registered. What did i do wrong?
In my Ascomp account, there’s a button to “Extend License until…” for some $$$.
So is this a lifetime licence or time limited?According to the instructions this is a lifetime license, but it says mine will expire in one year.

That’s not what the software implies.I got the installer : when launched, it opens a windows about an ID code. Then I clicked “register now”.
As I already have an account from them, I just used that one, and somehow, I got “textrVV.exe” downloaded…I installed it, and got the program installed, not asking a key or something : it works fine as is.
Anyway : THIS SYSTEM SHOULD BE MARKED AS “JUNK”. Geez !

The given registration key does not work. Apparently the very company which decided to give this away ended this practice without informing your website. We cannot register for the software as of now. Please do something.

So this may help others.I’m having the same problem as above! This has to be the worst software installation I have ever encountered, bar none!!!

This process just suggests that ‘ascompsoftware.com’ doesn’t know what they are doing!!!

Comme la plupart du temps cela ne fonctionne pas, on n’arrive même pas à s’enregistrer et dans la foulée j’ai désinstallé !!!
