    [ @Ashraf]

I was thrilled to see this offered, but every single You Tube video url I’ve tried, ALL of which have “cc” as an option that works fine, comes up when I click ‘search’ in TranscriptSnagger as “no transcript found”. EVERY one. No choice but to \uninstall and not recommend, unless someone has a suggestion to get this working.

This will depend on whether or not the video has had closed caption files uploaded to it, and that often depends on the subject matter. It will not access auto-generated captions (yet), so you’ll need to find videos that have been captioned. A new version will be coming out soon that will load a bunch of videos at a time and you can just click through them to see if they have captions available. [@lele]

I just installed it with no problem. Make sure you don’t copy any spaces before/after the name or serial number. Also, the first character in the serial number is a capital letter O and not a zero.[@Patrick]

It should install the s/w to your Program Files (x86) folder. Look for it there. The installer will have checkboxes for creating a desktop icon and also for launching the s/w after installation. When it opens it will prompt you for the username and serial number.[@carlo]

Unless I have missed something I have input 3 URLs from youtube (supplied by youtube using the share button) and also right click and copy video URL. Each time I have got the message ‘This does not appear to be a youtube URL’. It would appear that this program doesn’t work. Pity, because it is a program which would be useful from time to time.
