Brian AstburyGuestDownloaded Vole Page Share; installed. It then ran a compatibility check, and said that Vole Internet Expedition IE:7 was not compatible with my Windows 10 setup. Couldn’t find any answers on the Vole site, so I’ve uninstalled it. What is the problem?
Thanks,
Brian

In my experience, Microsoft have a history of telling us any competitor’s software has known problems or is not compatible. Unless Vole Pageshare have forked out money to have Microsoft test their software at Microsoft’s Labs then it is deemed non-compatible. Bit like a protection racket!drvajraGuestWhile trying to install, K9 Protecion warns Sandwhole is listed as a malicious site.
BarryGuestThere is something wrong with the download hub file.
I have tried it multiple times and it fails with the message
“This app can’t run on your PC” and I’m told to check with the software publisher for another version.
What am I running? Windows 10 Pro 64 bit!BarryGuest[@Barry] EDIT
I finally got the software offered today. But I had to go the the website and manually download the version there (free). I was able to then use the licenses file to upgrade to the professional version.
This process did not follow the usually straight forward SOS method and was very confusing. And of course it did not work. Disappointing, and a huge waste of time. I have none let to test the software right now. Maybe later
Mick!GuestGet USED to the Twisted mind of the German programmers to confuse the hell out of you! Their motto is “Simple is NOT intelligent!” On TOP of it the license is working for 30 days then you have to buy it!
“After you purchase or redeem, you can immediately download a 30-day temporary license.Your temporary license will be invalid after 30 days. You can download your formal license after 30 days if you want to continue use the software.

DJGuest[@Brian Astbury] When it did the compatibility check, there is a small “fix” box beside that message..click it and it upgrades to 11.
DJGuest[@Mick!] It isn’t German, and its that way incase you don’t want to keep it or haven’t used it..saves on server costs.

Stay far away from PageShare.
This isn’t a matter of Microsoft telling drvajra that PageShare isn’t compatible with IE 7. This is Sanwhole’s own program telling drvajra that IE7 isn’t compatible with PageShare. I installed the PageShare (having to download it from Sanwhole’s sorry website). PageShare runs a compatiblity check the first time your open the program. On my computer it reported issues with Adobe Flash Player even though I have the latest version installed and another program. PageShare’s compatibilty check had a button to “fix” these two issues, but when I clicked on it to fix Flash Player, it opened up my default browser (a fully updated Firefox 64.0) and froze Firefox. When I tried to run “Help” from within PageShare, it opened Firefox and froze it again. (This behavior continued even after a computer reboot.) I’m not about to change my default browser just to use PaegShare. The only help available is online. The user guide is stricly online. The program is far from intuitive.
Norton Security flagged PageShare as did Windows Defender. I prudently uninstalled PageShare from my computer and hope that it didn’t leave any infections behind.Norman WongGuest[@Mick!]
Download formal license after 30 days is FREE.
Why not continue to read the next line:
“You can download your license file at any time and as many times as you want for free.”

LRGuestI have noticed the initials numerous times when Vole is making\has made a special offer of free software — LTUD. Please, what do these initials stand for?
THX!
