Just rename the installer from vopt.exe to vopt-setup.exe
The installer is checking if an older version is running but it finds itself.
A rather good defragmentor, small and unlike O&O does not install a background servicefor those who have problem with installation….(vopt.exe must be closed blah blah)
just rename install file (vopt.exe) into other names (like vopt_install.exe)************ This Worked Perfectly !!!
ps:Do not Forget The Other DirectionsBack in the DOS days this was the very best defrag utility and I purchased a license from Golden Bow.
Is it no longer the best then? I appreciate the programmer releasing it into the public domain after his death in any case.
