GuestVSDC Video Editor Pro 10 is currently being offered as a giveaway for download. Unfortunately, only the VSDC Free Video Editor program is installed.
Too bad.DavidB
GuestVSDC is less capable than DaVinci free, but more simple and intuitive to use. I was able to trim, stabilize and export a video without even referring to any help files.

Can’t account for the other poster(s)’ experience:
I got the install file from SOS, and it took just a few seconds.Frank
GuestThe giveaway works great as usual with this sites giveaways. Thank you for helping us with the freebies.

Guest[@Bernd] The vendor offers the freemium free version which is very capable and does not watermark produced videos but has more advanced features if you activate the Pro license with the key provided by this site and it will enable the advanced features for the duration of the license. I have an earlier version giveaway without the new bells and whistles but it is a permanent Pro license and it meets my needs so why update to a 1 year Pro license of features I can do without?

GuestWhile the vendors page implies the current version works on XP SP3 and Vista with their statement:
“Please, note, that the current version doesn’t run on Windows versions prior to Windows XP SP3. If you use older Windows versions, please, make use of VSDC Video Editor version 6.4.2”
It is inaccurate the installers available from their site are produced with a version of inno setup that makes installers that are not recognised as valid win32 executables in versions of windows prior to Windows 7 and we cannot manually install it using innoextractor as the contents of the installer are encrypted so it’s not possible to do a trial manual install to see if the vendors site is telling the truth.
The only negative I find with this program (overlooking website errors and typos) is the pro license is ONLY available as an annual subscription model that is not explicitly stated in the purchase page openly but is only implied by the check box to enable “automatic renewal” which allows continuous payment authority to the payment services provider which is a BIG deal. They should also offer a lifetime same major version updates Pro license model in my humble opinion. Leave the subscription model to those that enjoy exploring new features… rather than just getting on with the job of video editing with current UI and facilities.
I have a question about the AI engine(s) traditionally local generative AI models requires 64bit addressing and will not comfortably fit in 32bit user address space, does the 32bit installer include 32bit local AI models or is AI only implemented in the 64bit installers installation? Or is generative AI model non-local and uses an online engine? The 32bit installer seems to be missing the DLL’s that pertain to GPU acceleration so it looks like the 32bit Pro installation does not implement any GPU hardware acceleration so if you can run the 64bit installer there is significant reason to use it over the 32bit installer unless your 64bit environment is hardware limited to unsupported GPU or 4GByte or less RAM and cannot be upgraded. (32bit programing is more efficient in terms of memory allocation of byte stream data structures like video and audio than 64bit programming).
