GuestHi. Most websites have ads. And these ads are constantly changing. Does your program track changes only in the text and ignore changes in the ads?

GuestM,
Yes, I believe the app will allow you to specify aspects of a particular page you want to t
rack (and maybe other aspects to ignore).
To quote from the app’s homesite page,“Advanced Filtering Options
Strip HTML: Removes all HTML tags and retains only the plain text content of the webpage.
Line Range: Lets you specify exact line numbers (e.g., lines 15-30) in the webpage.
Keyword: Monitors only parts of the page that contain specific word or phrase you define.
XPath: Uses XPath queries to target specific HTML/XML elements (e.g.,).
RegEx (Regular Expressions): Applies pattern-matching rules to identify changes in text (e.g., dates, prices, IDs).”“How to exclude specific content parts
The program supports exclusions. This feature filters out irrelevant changes, ensuring users focus only on what matters most to them. By excluding specific lines that undergo frequent but unimportant modifications, users receive targeted notifications, avoiding unnecessary distractions and staying focused on the updates that truly impact them.Use the menu: Settings > Exclusions
Enter any text that should be ignored. Lines containing these texts on websites will be ignored.” -
