    I had a license for one of their duplicate softwares a while back, it kept getting deactivated over and over, and while it would reactivate with the license it always ended up getting deactivated. I found that rather odd and any software maker that has access to turn ON or OFF anything on your PC perhaps may have access to your PC in ways you don’t wont them to do so.

    I should also mention : “When the license was deactivated OVER AND OVER, I was not running any type of registry or cleaning software”.

    I am mentioning this because those are my THOUGHTS as was mentioned at the start of this thread, and my OPINIONS.

    Too bad TSS TriSunSoft WinExt does not work for me ( clean Windows 7 64, 2260×2 MHz, 4 GB RAM, 2 TB drive ) — it just sits there, the [ Scanned ] item stays at [ 0 ], and never moves, never scans.

    I reboot and try again, and click on the [ Sizes ] option, and a black bar sits in the middle of the screen, and the program becomes unresponsive.

    Reboot again.

    Reset all options, turn off network and CD, set for [ Small ] and [ Tiny ] only, click [ Find ] … and all the sizes are selected ON in the next screen ( why ask if you’re just going to ignore my choices ? ) … so uncheck all but [ Small ] and [ Tiny ] AGAIN … but [ Scanned ] never changes from [ 0 ], and there’s no option / button to tell the software to GO AHEAD AND START.

    Has ANYBODY seen results from this?

    Computer are capable of incredible things, but programmers, apparently, are not.

    I copied some files to copies in the same directory just to make sure I had some bone fide duplicates, then I rebooted, reinstalled the software … and the same results ( the definition of insanity, right, doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results ? ), all numbers in [ Statistics ] stay at [ 0 ] in the [ Results — Grouped & sorted duplicate files ] window.

    Should I search for a trial of a previous version to see if it EVER worked?

    What say, TriSunSoft — do you have a solution?

    The offering today and the versions on your site fail for me ( see my post below ), so until your programs self-diagnose and produce at least an error message, I can’t see pursuing your offer.

    I’m sure ( presume ? ) your programs work for you, just not for me.

    Nope, [@TriSun Software Limited] showed up here just to sell their other programs, no HELP getting today’s program working.

    TSS has GOT to understand that a failed program, even FREE, is NOT good adverti$ing …
