Something is not really clear, for me : does this giveaway has hardware acceleration activated or not ?
Owner of a RTX card, it looks that it’s not using it.
The program installed ok, so I opened it and chose a video to clean up, the size was 541mb and the smallish interface turned white, it’s been that way for a few hours now and Task Manager says the program is busy. I have an intel i9 and I can see one of the processors in particular is busy, my RAM shows minimal usage and my drives are all SSD. I don’t know if the program is busy or frozen but it isn’t giving any indication that it’s doing something, other than what I said already.

it’s almost demo. increasing the resolution is a bad joke. artificial intelligence is somewhere, not here, or it is so sublime that it cannot be seen. it’s not the first time. I think it is the 3rd time in the last year that this demo “gift” appears

Classic ‘bait and switch’ … download installs ver 3.0 … when starting – instantly prompts to install the ‘current’ version 3.9 …. which invalidates your current registration – and you can no longer register the upgraded version – so you are stuck with the ‘crippled’ version – Tells you all you need to know about this company (Digiary Software)
I have WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe from a previous giveaway three or four years ago. It, too, was a ‘lifetime’ version. Worked fine.
I fired it up again a few days ago (I use it about 3-4 times a year), it went online to its web site and offered me a paid update to a “full” version. When I declined the offer, it closed the browser window, then it closed the program itself which was running on my machine. I tried it three times, it did that three times.
Massively obnoxious behavior. So much for “lifetime”!
So I went to my firewall and turned off its online access. Then it loaded and ran fine.
I no longer trust Digiary Software.
Worst Shareware download ever: There’s no way to register and it just solicits to upgrade to an expensive newer version. Complete waste of time. Bait & switch.

This is like getting a bag of sweets. Only when you ope this giveaway, it’s a bag of stones. So disappointing.
This app is trash!
It gives zero control over the models, it doesn’t allow motion preview only a still image.
When exporting it’s ridiculously slow to the point it’s useless and not only that it gives zero control over the output bitrate or encoder used. The bitrate is absolutely uselessly low as well.It hasn’t forced me to update as of yet but given what others have said then I guess it will soon.
I won’t be using it anyway it’s absolutely useless and there are far better options out there from GitHub that actually work!`
