Attempted to install; computer claims this version won’t run on my Win10 Pro ??
Install error:
When .exe installer is run, I get a ‘failure to start error.
My system:
Win 11 x64 Pro v. 23620.1000 (developer’s insider build)
AMD Radeon 3020e 32GB ram.Update:
Uncompressed .exe file (it’s basically a self extracting zip) into a new folder.
Ran the installer and got an error that this version cannot run on my version of windows (win11 x64), and to contact the vendor for a compatible version.
Tried with win11 property set to compatibility settings for other windows versions, no go.
Tried installing from vendors Winx website version. Same.Not able to register. The register fields are not opened for entries
This looked to be very promising but that promise turned out to be disappointing.
The installation and registration went OK on my Win10Pro x64bit 12 GB machine with a 2GB Nvidia GT710 video card but the results? BLACK!I tested with two versions of a scan of an old black and white dull photograph, the original B&W, and a colourized enhanced one previously created with My Heritage.
I first asked for an “enhancement to the enhanced” colourized version. It seemed to go as expected and it correctly used my Nvidia’s GPU, and it showed a side by side preview of the result in the program which looked improved!
I was happy with that so I attempted to retrieve it from the designated folder. That’s when the problems started.
When I tried to view the image in the folder it was completely black! It was also showing a very small file size, about 6KB, not nearly large enough. There is also no way to retrieve it directly from the preview within the program.
I repeated the action many times, even restarted the application, each time the same result–black with a tiny image size –nothing!
To make matters worse, the Preview function also stopped working after the first run. I had nothing to save and nothing to even preview.
This has been a total waste of time. Based on this test I didn’t bother to try a video.
This program doesn’t work as advertised.Activation Failed: “ERROR CODE 1”
will not allow me to register the code I have.

Please allow us customers to enter the key we are given.

I try to not install versions of anything that are “2.0”, usually wait until the zero is replaced with a larger integer indicating preliminary bugs have been swatted.
This site/Ashraf is usually good about getting patched versions up if there are problems.
how do I find out if the program is registered? The fact is that at the time of registration, the Internet was temporarily lost.

Hi,Thanks for your interest in Winxvideo AI. The program can run on Windows 7, 8/8.1, 10, 11 (64-bit version supported). Regarding the problem you encountered, could you kindly uninstall Winxvideo AI firstly and then download & install it for a second time?

Hi,Sorry for the confusion caused. Please follow the steps below to activate Winxvideo AI again:
Step 1: Install and open Winxvideo AI on Windows PC. Click “Settings” -“Register” button on the on the upper right corner of main interface.
Step 2: Input your email address as “Licensed Email” and input the license code you received.
Notes:
* There should be no spaces in front or at end of the key.
* Please make sure you have proper Internet connection when registering WinX program.Step 3: Click “Activate” to complete the registration process.
