CompugridGuestIn the wise website this software is 1 year license only. Can developer confirm that this license is lifetime??
Also does it have function to create protected .exe file like Vera or Safehouse do?Alec deWogGuestIt asks a password. What password? I haven’t got any, where can I find it?

Are you kiding ? YOU have to enter YOUR 1st/initial PW, which you would like to work withwosaGuest… I urge you all to note:
This is not a full “full-version” – if you claim you forgot your PW, you are asked to either…
– BUY a “retrieve”-Key (!…)
– or log into your account at WISE and and enter YOUR personal key for the “pro” version…This would mean:
1. your protected files/folders are NOT safe…
2. as said: no full version (but perhaps the good might be: it is not a license for just 1 year.wosaGuestI see, IT could get, AND IS EVEN WORSE:
NOTHING essentially has changed:
Starting up a pc that has a “protected” folder later with Linux, Windows-PE (or any other OS)
THIS FOLDER IS NOT PROTECTED AT ALL !!
…this means, just a so called “filter driver” is (an must be) present in the source (host) system.
if not, those folders are fully visible and accessible.THE ONLY GOOD is, that some time ago WISE added the ability to encrypt the data.
But waht is it worth, if your can “buy” a revorey key if you get access to the registration data used to register at WISE…oofoorGuestWhy bother with this app when there are great free and open-source file encryption apps like VeraCrypt, which can do encrypted and hidden volumes, and Cryptomator, which can sync with cloud storage while keeping your files encrypted? Not to mention they are cross-platform.
