[ @Ashraf] I cannot register the software, it says the key that was given to me via email is invalid. Also the method to register says to click on “about”, there’s no such box. The program opens a window after a couple of minutes and asks to register the software, which I cannot do. Not sure where to go from here.
[@Bob] Thanks for including how you resolved the issue. I have a few guitar interfaces plus whatever Dell added to my PC for sound, and it gets confusing how to make audio work at times.
[@Dave Cole] I already had version 1.21.1 installed (and highly recommend it!). So I can’t address registration issues I don’t remember. When I run the program, a window pops up with choices for record mode (web page, game, etc.) I normally pick “Capture online video”. Then I get the program’s window, what I think you call the Control Panel (big red record button, screen size, pause, close, settings, screenshot, etc.) This can be minimized to system tray (click the “_” button to the left of the “X” close/exit button) and you can also move it to different places if you want (click & hold in green timer section, drag it where you want, release mouse buttton). If you “close” the program, it exits altogether so no, there will no longer be an icon in the system tray. Just start it again when needed. Recording can be started and stopped with definable hotkeys if you don’t like to see Control Panel. If Control Panel is minimized, double-click the circular red & white button in the system tray (single-click doesn’t always work). Right-clicking that button also brings up a nice menu which includes “About”, where it looks like you would enter registration information.
This really is an excellent program. ZD Soft has done a good job of making something that works well, does most of what you need, and pretty much can stay out of the way. It’s a little cryptic at first but don’t let that scare you away. All the buttons have mouse-over tool tips… if they don’t show, try clicking the green timer area to make it the foreground program. Explore what it does a little at a time. I just realized this might be able to record audio only, and can be told to start and stop at a set time or length. More to try!
I can’t find the ABOUT option so I can register it. Any clues please?

Can’t find where to enter the name/email/code. Can’t find “About” in the system tray (what/where is the system tray)?

Hi all.
I used this product in my older laptop running Nvidia graphics card with windows 8 and it worked great. I have tried to use this in my new laptop with AMD Radeon graphics and windows 10, now I have the following issues:1. If I try to record off youtube for example, the youtube video freezes and lags.
2. Playback resolution is poor (even if I record a 1080 HD video) and the playback freeze/lags.I have contacted ZD soft and AMD. I did a complete uninstall/re-install of the AMD drivers. On youtube the freezes and lagging issues are minimal-usually happens as soon as I press play on either youtube or screen recorder. On other sites the playback is still terrible.
Any assistance is appreciated.
