--> Charger Control: Adjust AC / USB-PD / Wireless / USB 3.0 / USB 2.0 / max Charging Current in 100 mA Steps, Range: 200 - 3000/3500 mA for S8/S8 Plus
--> Fast Charging even with Screen ON (Stock Kernel only with Screen OFF)
--> Shows the actual accepted Charging Current
--> Shows the actual input Voltage - e.g. to check if AFC is actually active
--> Shows Battery Temperature in °C / °F
--> Battery care support (e.g. stop charging at 95 %)
--> Battery idle feature (power your phone over cable-only)
--> Ability to disable water detection (to deal with wrong water detection)

# Audio
--> Volume + / - over the App - useful if the Hardware Buttons are broken

# Screen
--> Turn the Screen OFF over the App - useful if the Power Button is broken
--> Input Booster Frequency - Adjust the CPU Frequency while you are touching the Screen - for smoother scrolling
--> Input Booster duration - When you release the Screen how long it should stay boosted ? - Test yourself how much you need

# CPU
--> Overclock Control:
--> little CPU: min/max 455 - 2002 MHz (Stock: 455 - 1690 MHz)
--> Big CPU: 741 - 2808 MHz (Stock: 741 - 2314 Mhz)
--> Adjust Up Threshold from the Governor for little/big CPU separately to adjust the Balance between Battery Life and Performance
--> Boost Control (little/big separately) - if enabled, it will jump from min to max CPU Freq, improving responsiveness and smoother scrolling
--> CPU Cool Freq (DVFS) - Ability to set higher Max Freq limit when the device is hot and should cool down, i.e. stock is 1469 MHz but you can set it to 2002 MHz in order to avoid too big performance drops from thermal throttling
--> Check if CPU Max Freq is actually throttled from thermal driver

# GPU
--> Overclock Control:
--> Set min/max GPU Clock - Range 260 - 839 MHz (Stock: 260 - 546 MHz)
--> Ability to fully disable DVFS, i.e. no GPU performance drops at all while the device is getting hot

--> Performance (Kernel default / Stock)
--> Performance Plus (Overclocked)

# RAM
--> zRam - swap block-device in RAM (to improve Multitasking) (25 %, 50 % or 75 % of the RAM Size)
--> KSM - Kernel Samepage Merging - saves RAM if it finds some duplicates (zRam is more recommended)
--> Ability to drop all caches and buffers (to free some RAM)

# Network
--> Enable Kernel Support for Network File Systems: CIFS and NFS
--> TCP Congestion Algorithm (cubic, new reno, bic, westwood+)

# Misc
--> Flashlight Brightness Control - up to 3 times brighter than with Stock Kernel !!
--> Adjust LED-RGB blink delays (for missed notifications / low battery)
--> LED-RGB: Optimize Blue LED (higher brightness in the darkness)
--> Accelerometer Calibration

Please search the Web for "A2N Kernel S8 XDA" and click on the first link "forum.xda ...."
Then scroll down to "Installation for normal People" and perform step by step in the right order.
Finally you can buy this App and use all features !
There you will find also how to update to Android 9, if you have still Android 8 or 7.
