Het binnenvaartpolitiereglement bevat de verkeersregels voor veruit het grootste deel van het Nederlandse binnenwater en is verplicht voor vrijwel iedere watersporter en professionele watergebruiker.

Het Binnenvaartpolitiereglement is verplicht aan boord
In het werkingsgebied van het reglement moet elk schip een bijgewerkt exemplaar van het geldige BPR aan boord hebben. Dat kan op papier, maar mag ook deze app zijn, omdat artikel 1.11 in het binnenvaart politie reglement stelt: "Een exemplaar dat via een elektronisch middel op ieder moment geraadpleegd kan worden is eveneens toegestaan."
LET OP: Uitgezonderd van deze verplichting zijn grote schepen zonder bemanningsverblijf en kleine open schepen. Maar het blijft natuurlijk handig (en verstandig!) om de regels op het water te kennen en na te kunnen slaan.

The Inland Waterways Police required on board
In the scope of the regulations all ships an updated copy of the valid BPR on board. This can be on paper, but may also be this application, because section 1.11 of states in the navigational authority rules: "A copy that can be accessed is also allowed via an electronic means at any time."
NOTE: Excluded from this requirement are large ships without crew quarters and small open vessels. But it remains useful (and wise!) To know the rules of the water and be able to save after.
