Description

The Daffodil Way is a 10 mile circular trail through the wild Daffodil fields of the Dymock, Kempley, Oxenhall, Newent (Golden Triangle) area of Gloucestershire.

The app provides maps (with your location marked) of the path, together with photographs and information related to your walk. Places to eat and drink. Best Daffodil sites.

Live updates showing where flowers are currently abundant and any special events such as the Daffodil teas and walks held by the villages in the area.

Daffodil cam with current and past picture of the flowers developing.

Although the Daffodils are usually at their best from mid-March to early April, the path remains an excellent day walk, passing through fields, meadows and woodland, by a Norman church with medieval wall paintings dating from around 1120 and the oldest surviving timber roof in England, along with remains of the railway and canal that once passed through the area.

Part of the routes of the Poets Paths and a very short section of the Three Choirs Way are included, along with links to information on the Dymock Poets.
