With this easy to use application, you can measure the approximate distance to the ground from nearly any height, given you can hear (or see) whatever you drop hit the ground. Accurate from 2 feet (or less!) to 30,000 feet! Any small solid object will work, a coin, a pebble, a water balloon... anything that does not have excess drag (i.e. anything like a flat sheet of paper or anything with a parachute or similar device attached will NOT work).
