after than used couple days i recognized it painfully slow.especially today it around 5 mbps. and begin connection always too long.
I’ve been a subscriber to FastestVPN since January 2020 & have been very satisfied with their VPN service. They offer 5 protocols (IKEV2, L2TP, PPTP, TCP & UDP). The software lists 50 locations, 10 of them in the US. The only problem I had was trying to connect using IKEV3 to their New York location, just wouldn’t work most times, but TCP & UDP did work. I’ve tried connecting to most of the US locations & they all work using TCP & UDP. Canada was the only non-US I tried & that worked too. I had another ‘Lifetime’ VPN that stopped working after they upgraded their software-used it for about 2.5 years until it stopped working. I use FastestVPN on 2 Windows 10 computers, haven’t tried it on Android or IOS system.

FastestVPN is like a box of chocolates…..
The first iteration of the software application was missing OpenVPN as a choice for connection. After searching the website, I find that the OpenVPN option is downloaded and installed separately. Very klunky if you ask me. Also, the OpenVPN connection would disconnect all of the time.
Then I get a popup saying that there is an update. I say ok. FastVPN icon disappears from my desktop and the nothing…. no activity window, no recognizable tasks running. Who knows? I ended up uninstalling FastVPN, downloading the newer version and running the installer. same thing, waiting, waiting…..eventually it installed. Now there are two interfaces, one on the windows Networks popup and the one on the desktop. If you use the FastVPN on the Networks popup, it shows a connection with notation PPTP . Should I not get a choice? After iut connects there is no icon in the notification area of the taskbar to show connection information or any kind of interface. Back to the Blue MS Networks popup and you have no status available there either.
Using the new application window, you do now have a choice of UDP or TCP protocols, which I assume are OpenVPN. The choice of servers is rather small and a double click (as opposed to the directions) is required to start the process. Once running, you have status showing the new IP address and up/down traffic counts. There are times when the browser just stops working and I notice that the traffic counts are not changing. This requires a disconnect/reconnect to get it running again.
My opinion is that FastVPN is not yet ready for prime time.
I went back to my old VPN.
Hopefully, things will improve and I can update my review.
