WaveCut Audio Editor [for PC]

WaveCut is a lightweight visual audio editor. It is designed for simultaneous work with several files and provides instant data exchange between windows in virtual mode.

Virtual mode allows you to process files of unlimited size. The editor supports most modern audio formats, the graphical interface provides automatic scaling on high-resolution screens.

It’s fast. The processing speed in most cases is limited only by the speed of your hard drive. This is achieved through support for multicore processors and advanced SIMD instruction sets. For maximum performance, we recommend to move a temporary folder on the SSD or RAM disk.

Easy to use
Working with WaveCut Audio Editor is quite simple and does not require any specific knowledge on audio editing. Since this is a non-destructive editor, all changes are easily reversible. You can essentially undo everything and start back at the beginning with your unedited audio file.

High DPI aware MDI interface
Allows simultaneous editing of multiple audio files and fast data exchange via an internal clipboard. You do not have to worry about sampling rates and the number of channels – editor shall convert formats on the fly. All graphic elements are automatically scaled and look equally good on regular and 4K displays.

Supported audio formats
Load audio files in various audio formats including MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA, AIFF, M4A, AAC, AC3, APE, MPC, FLAC, WV, OPUS, TTA, ALAC, SPEEX. Output formats: WAV, MP3, FLAC and Opus.

Basic Operations
Visually edit audio file (Cut, Copy, Paste, Duplicate, Delete, Mix, Mute, Trim). The most of basic commands executed instantly even on huge audio files.

Equipped with few audio Effects
Apply various effects such as Amplify, Invert, Reverse, Fade In, Fade Out, Normalize, Insert Silence, Sampling Rate Converter, Low-pass Filter, High-pass Filter, Band-pass Filter, Band-stop Filter, Peak Filter, Low-shelf Filter, High-shelf Filter, Graphic Equalizer. With each new release, the number of effects will increase.

Huge audio files support
Since the standard WAV file is limited to 2GB, many sound editors can not work with larger files. This can be a problem when working with high-resolution audio and editing movie audio tracks. WaveCut supports files larger than 4GB. The maximum file size is limited only by the available free space on your hard drive.

Never Lose Anything
WaveCut keeps the history of actions, so you can easily undo or redo any action. You can perform unlimited undo and redo of your actions or limit the number of undo levels to save disk space.
