Het verschil met de vroegere 1ste maanversie is dat er in Kern START en Kern 1 meer letters aan bod komen. Daardoor kan er vroeger gestart worden met het leren lezen van de eerste woorden.

De schrijfletters volgen de schrijfmethode ‘pennenstreken’ en kan verschillen van de schrijfmethode gebruikt in uw school.
