Mehr Chancengleichheit – dieser Grundgedanke prägt die neu überarbeitete Leistungs-Prüfungs-Ordnung (LPO 2013), die ab dem 1. Januar 2013 auf allen nationalen Turnieren in Deutschland gilt. Die Änderungen basieren auf den Ergebnissen einer Umfrage, an der sich 14.492 Pferdesportler beteiligt hatten.
Die LPO regelt die Durchführung von Leistungsprüfungen zur Förderung des Reit-, Fahr- und Voltigiersports, der deutschen Pferdezucht und der Pferdehaltung. Sie ist verbindlich für alle in der Deutschen Reiterlichen Vereinigung e.V. (FN) zusammen-geschlossenen natürlichen und juristischen Personen, die Leistungsprüfungen oder Pferdeleistungsprüfungen vorbereiten, durchführen, beaufsichtigen sowie daran teilnehmen.
Neu in der LPO 2013
Ganz neu: „offene“ und „geschlossene“ Prüfungen Die gravierendste Änderung in der LPO betrifft die Ausschreibung von „offenen“ und „geschlossenen“ Prüfungen. Letztere sind den weniger routinierten Reitern vorbehalten und sollen 20 Prozent einer „normalen“ Turnierveranstaltung ausmachen.
Richter-Rotation
Eine weitere Neuregelung, die auf der Auswertung der Umfrage basiert, ist das Rotationsverfahren für Richter. Demnach darf ein Richter maximal fünf Jahre in Folge auf einem Turnier eingesetzt werden. Jedes Jahr muss ein Richter einer Veranstaltung ausgetauscht werden.
Verbesserte Planbarkeit
Die LPO sieht ferner vor, dass in der vorläufigen Zeiteinteilung der Zeitpunkt der Prüfung konkreter definiert wird.
Weitere Detailänderungen der LPO betreffen insbesondere die einzelnen Disziplinen, eine Erweiterung der Helmpflicht für Dressurreiter und Fahrer bis 18 Jahre und Teilnehmer aller Altersklassen an Dressurprüfungen der Klasse E und A.

More opportunities - this idea shapes the newly revised Performance Testing Procedure (LPO 2013), which will apply from 1 January 2013 on all national tournaments in Germany. The changes are based on the results of a survey conducted with the participation of 14,492 equestrian athletes took part.
The LPO regulates the conduct performance audits to promote riding, driving and vaulting sport, the German horse breeding and horse husbandry. It is binding for all e.V. in the German Equestrian Federation (FN) together-closed natural and legal persons who are preparing for performance tests or horse performance tests, conduct, supervise and participate.
New in the LPO in 2013
Brand new: "open" and "closed" tests The most serious change in the LPO concerns the tendering of "open" and "closed" tests. The latter are reserved for the less experienced riders and expected to constitute 20 percent of a "normal" tournament event.
Judge rotation
Another new regulation, which is based on the analysis of the survey, the rotation system for judges. Thus, a judge may only be used a maximum of five years in a row at a tournament. Each year, a judge of an event must be replaced.
improved predictability
The LPO also stipulates that, in the preliminary timing of the time of the test is more concretely defined.
Other detail changes of LPO relate in particular to the individual disciplines, an extension of the helmet law for dressage riders and drivers under 18 and participants of all ages at dressage tests of E and A.
