Deze app vertelt in vijftien rijk geïllustreerde verhalen voor het eerst de eeuwenlange geschiedenis die Nederlanders met wijn hebben, van de Romeinen tot de twintigste eeuw. Historicus en vinoloog Mariëlla Beukers ging op zoek naar het ware verhaal achter middeleeuwse wijngaarden, Hollandse ingenieurs in de Médoc, de route van de wijn, de gebruiken rondom wijn drinken en nog veel meer. Zij verzamelde bovendien de mooiste afbeeldingen uit tientallen hoofdzakelijk Nederlandse musea en archieven. De toepassing is speciaal ontworpen om te lezen op een tablet, maar ook te gebruiken op een smartphone.
Een gedrukte versie is beschikbaar als 'Wijnkronieken. Twintig eeuwen Nederlanders en wijn' bij alle erkende boekhandels en online-verkoopkanalen.
