Reviews for 50 GB lifetime cloud storage with pCloud
Nice one
Easy to use
Just perfect. Thank you a lot!!!
Reg was easy, everything is working as should. I do feel that encryption should be included though. “Get additional security and encrypt your sensitive files with (optional) pCloud Crypto.” This is on the cloud and not safe without encryption, hard to take serious.

It is a bit confusing, the way they show the features on their website, but I believe they store your data encrypted on their servers. If you want client-side encryption, then you need pCloud Crypto. It is the difference between server-side encryption and client-side encryption. Client-side is more “secure” in the sense that not even pCloud has the decryption keys.
However, as I said, their website is confusing… so you will need to ask them to clarify, don’t take my word for it.
Thanks for the info, I was confused :), If there is any way of changing my rating I would change it to 5, if you can go ahead.
Hello,
As pCloud Tech Support Team, we would like to inform you that to guarantee your files’ safety, pCloud uses TLS/SSL encryption, applied when information is transferred from your device to the pCloud servers. This, so called server-side encryption, applies for all pCloud users.
At pCloud data security is our top priority and we do our best to apply first class safety measures. With pCloud, your files are stored on at least three server locations in a highly secure data storage area.
Optionally, you can subscribe for pCloud Crypto and have your most important files encrypted and password protected. We provide the so called client-side encryption, which means that no one, except you will, have the keys for file decryption.
Thank you for using pCloud!
Thanks for clearing up my confusion. The server-side is what I was wondering about. All in all there isn’t anything to complain about, actually seems very positive. Thanks for the giveaway. I would change my star rating to 5 if I could due to your info.
Makes sharing easier than ever. :)
pCloud installed quickly and simply, everything worked as outlined. Thanks, Ashraf. HOWEVER, be prepared for the usual nonsense in getting things straightened out when signing in to Microsoft. It took nearly a half hour of password reset, text codes, verifications, and such to convince MS I am me. The problem? I moved from the US to the Philippines. Instead of asking is I was still the account holder they instead blocked the account citing “possible” violations of code of use, use for spamming, and other “suspicious” activity. So be prepared if you have basically behaved in any normal fashion because the MS electronic brain is a contrary and distrustful SOB. I wish MS worked as well as pCloud does.

They blocked the account, that’s a security measure afterall to make sure your account has been hijacked but can’t be used to access your data, imagine it really has been hijacked, you would have been thankful for them doing it because a Microsoft account gives access to various services from them AND YOUR DATA all over the place.
Simple to do, and simple to use. Best part is that you can access it from anywhere on virtually and mobile and home device. 50GB is enough to store the best of the best of what you have. So all you file hoarders, get rid of what u don’t need and free up some CPU space!!

50 GB ??????????? where s the other 40GB besides the ACTUAL 10GB ? I thought 50 is not 10!
That s what it gives you after installation. Don’t waste your time on installation. Thx but no thx
Hello,
As pCloud Support Team, we would like to inform you that in order your space to be increased to 50GB, you need to backup your files from OneDrive.
Please visit the Backup section of our Web platform (https://my.pcloud.com/) and click on the start button against OneDrive. Follow the instructions and upon completion your space will be increased to 50GB.
Thank you for choosing pCloud!
Easy pcloud clouding services, i like the way it classified folders into Docs, musics …
This is the way the Cloud should work. The biggest gripe I have about using the Cloud is that it doesn’t refresh on demand, e.g. I can load Gigabytes worth of data, but when I go to access it, even after a restart, it simply isn’t there. With pCloud a simple refresh of the file manager is all it takes for the data to show and be usable. Moreover, as the data resides in the file manager, its easy to use and manipulate it amongst my other drives and devices.
This is the amazing cloud service. With a good security and handy client application.
Thanks for the giveaway, pCloud. I’ve been waiting for such kind of cloud storage. It’s really fantastic. Keep on going pCloud.
pcloud works so easily. What more could you ask for than a life time 50gb free. No more lost pictures. Thanks

My grouse is that it seems IMPOSSIBLE to copy entire folders into this storage media. I’ve got literally THOUSANDS of pix in separately labelled folders, but can I squirrel them away?? NOT on your life !!! I’d have to transfer them – a few at a time into one massive “Cloud” folder. [Which would take an age – or possibly longer than I have to live].
Hello,
As pCloud Support Team, we would like to inform you that you can upload an entire folder with files by logging to your pCloud web account (https://my.pcloud.com/) via Chrome browser. Click on the “Upload” button and you will see the Upload Manager. Click on the second tab named “Folder Upload’ and pick the folder that you want to upload.
If you need further help, you can contact us at support@pcloud.com
