Reviews for Sticky Password Premium
Decent password manager with lots of options to import from your current password manager (if you have none).
It does have some annoying quirks, including being obnoxiously determined to generate a new random password for you where you have to REPEATEDLY tell it to go away as you use one you want to use.
I came to this from RoboForm. I prefer RoboForm (its algorithms in several areas are superior), but will no longer tolerate software that is a subscription service and needs to be bought annually. I have slowly replaced all the software on my machine using annual subscriptions with software that is an outright purchase.
I have two lifetime licenses for it.
I tried Sticky Password the last time it was offered here and it was a terrible password manager. Worse, however, was that it was extremely difficult to uninstall its browser add-ons. You will do a lot better with Roboform, Dashlane, LastPass, and other password managers.

I decided to submit my disagreement with your posting; I have been using this program ever since it was first offered free here. I liked it so much that I purchased its life-time license. I have never had any issues with browser extensions; I use Firefox and Sticky Password is not an extension in it. The program is available on my IPad; Iphone too; no trouble. I do not usually save passwords in my browser either as I rely on Sticky Password. So if you are reading this, give this program a try.
I was using LastPass for the last 15 years, but they recently decided to not allow you to synch with your mobile device (or vise versa) unless you pay an annual premium. I will try Sticky PW for another couple days and then pay the modest $29.95 lifetime subscription rate. So far this software works as well as LastPass, but allows me to synch ALL my devices to one account. So far I am very happy with it.
I’ve been using StickPasswords for over 3 years now on Windows, MacOS and Android (it supports iOS also) and it is simply THE best password manager . Works with 32 and 64bit browsers. Works with a wise variety of browsers and the developers add more in time. Bought the lifetime subscription to it and it is simply THE best purchase I’ve made. Can be installed on ALL your devices, not just 3 or 5.
Highly, highly recommended!!!
V 8.2.3 April 2021
I have been using Sticky Password since the days of the initial beta versions. I work in IT and have compared many competing products for business and private, yet Sticky Password comes out in front for me.
As I am quite security conscious, the local wi-fi sync capabilities are of particular note, you do not need to sync to the cloud at all if you don’t wish to.
I recommend trying Sticky Password for your particular circumstances.

5 Stars from me.

Great software overall. It has always been reliable for me, and it offers plugins for all major browsers. I’ve even been able (using some “unofficial” advice from their support team) to install the Chrome extension on other Chromium based browsers, including Opera and Vivaldi. I’ve found that on a web web tools the autofill engine can get overwhelmed and load down. For example, using the web admin tool “cpanel” can cause the Sticky Password addon to really load down, and constantly try to dump your main login creds into any and every black in finds. Unless you want to create a new directory on your website which is named your password, just lock or close sticky when you start using such a tool.
Sticky Password also supports Android (Apple too, I think). It’s a nice tool to maintain access to your passwords when you might be on the go or traveling.
Sticky Password lacks options for OTP security or YubiKey, which I wish they would add. A password vault is a very sensitive thing, and your master password could theoretically be brute-forced with enough persistence. They do offer an e-mail MFA option though, so that helps. I’m still hoping for OTP or YubiKey support though.
Overall, a good product which I recommend.

*I’ve found that on some web admin tools
This is a huge sized program. Clunky and clumsy. Not in the same league as LastPass and others.
It seems people who are reviewing this program are leaving one major con out of the picture – No 64 bit browser support! The required extension to autofill passwords and forms will only work with 32 bit browsers.
Besides this, I’ve found the program to be very easy and intuitive to use. It’s got a decent amount of tools at your disposal, but most of all I appreciate the fact that they contribute to helping manatees across the world.

Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer 64 bit browsers are supported in this version. The rest are, as you said, 32 bit only. This from the developer’s web site.
It supports Firefox 64 bit, version 70.0.1 on my machine.
Dear Duncan,
I’m afraid, sir, that what you’ve written about “the required extension to autofill passwords and forms will only work with 32 bit browsers” is incorrect. I’ve been using Sticky Password for quite a number of years now and always use 64-bit browsers and have had NO PROBLEM with Sticky Password filling in passwords.
This is an old comment that should be ignored. I use Sticky Password Premium, having bought a lifetime license, and it works just fine with 64 bit browsers.
I have 64-bit Chrome and have never had a problem using Sticky Password with it. Not sure what the issue mentioned here is. It is on my 64-bit Windows 11 machine (also worked on 64-bit Windows 10). I bought a copy for my wife too (64-bit Chrome, 64-bit Windows 11) and have a promotional copy on my mom’s 64-bit Windows 10 machine that she switches between Chrome and Firefox 64-bit and loves the experience and will probably end up buying it when the promotion is close to expiring.
I have been using this software for about 2 years now from a lifetime subscription offer. I would not be without it now. I use it across Windows, Macs, Android and iOS, and frankly, I would not be without it, ever.
I highly recommend it to everyone!
As much as I WANT to like this program (I even purchased a lifetime license), I’ve abandoned trying to use it. After struggling with chronic crashes of Firefox, I was advised [by support] to switch to the release-channel instead of the Beta channel. That made sense, and it seemed to work afterwards- until a couple days later when Firefox released an update. Immediately, the crashes returned. I have used (and continue to use) several add-ons….none of which crash my browser…under any version. And knowing how often Firefox updates (VERY frequently), I’m NOT willing to suffer constant crashes for days while StickyPassword plays catch-up. Make a program that runs reliably and isn’t a complete upgrade canary, dead at every sign of an update, and I’ll possibly return when my current password manager subscription expires. But until then, this company has GOT to get its act together before it’ll be worth the trouble. I like the lifetime subscription model. The user interface is well done. It has most of the features I need. It’s just too delicate for me to entrust with my online identity.

I’ve been using this with 64 bit Firefox for several months now (I had enough of Google Chrome’s constant spying), through several updates, and haven’t had any crashes or other issues with it.
I also have used the give away version a long time ago and purchased a life-time license. I have used Firefox for over a year now and I have had no trouble at all on my Win10 Pro Computer. It works on my IPad too but I have had a little trouble there but nothing to cmplain about. Yes, I use Firefox on my IPad.
Just to add to that, Mardel. Have even been using Sticky on 64 bit version of Microsoft Edge. Works great with no crashes. Same as on my Android phone. Do not understand what happened, or why, to that Johnny computer, other than it being a 2 yr old comment. Even so have used Sticky for past 3 years with no issues.
Good to hear it works on an Ipad too.
I have been using this with life time updates for the last 3 years. The software is brilliant, you can set the software to lock the database so no one can see it if you leave the computer, mine is set to 30 seconds, then you have to insert your password before you can unlock it. You can choose where you want the database to be held, I use the cloud, with an encrypted backup on my computer. I automatically logs me into websites with my username and password every time without failing once.
I have tried using other software before this and never rated any of them. This I give full marks, its brilliant at what it does, and I highly recommend it to anyone.

You can use bitwarden instead. The best is that it is free and has all the features this giveaway offers.
I use this soft since years. For me, is the best one ever.
It’s difficult to remember passwords, especially if you are using a different password for each of your websites or accounts. Moreover, passwords on some sites need to match certain requirements like including upper case or lower case, and even numbers. Solution that seems possible is, using one password for all the sites, but that is not safe at all. If someone is able to get hands on that one password, you would be doomed. Password managers have been around for quiet a long time now, and many applications are available. But, not all of them are trustworthy and secure.
Sticky Password Premium has been around for a long time, and is one of the reliable names in this category of software applications. It is a software application, designed to store all your passwords in encrypted storage protected by a ‘Master Password’, so it is only accessible to you. Along with storing passwords, it can store bookmarks, identity details, and comes with browser add-ons and cloud sync across multiple devices.
Installation & Set-up
The installer size is ~47MB and the installation process is simple and takes no time at all. After the installation, a set-up window appears and guides you through the features of the application, after which you can create or login to your Sticky Passwords account, that let’s you sync passwords around multiple devices. After logging in, the application automatically syncs your password database, if you have one. The browsers installed are detected, and it asks you to choose the ones you want to install the browser extension too. Once all that is done, a tutorial window opens to guide you through the application in about 3 minutes only, there is a video tutorial available to if you prefer that. After all the installation, set-up, and tutorial stuff, you can jump right into the application and start using it.
Clean & Easy-to-use UI
This application comes with a modern looking UI, and looks really clean and uncluttered. The UI is well-arranged, providing quick access to all the available features at a click of the button. There is a search bar on top, with a menu button at the side. On the left-side are the six main sections of the application, namely Quick Access, Web Accounts, App Accounts, Bookmarks, Identities, and Secure memos. At the bottom left is the sync button to toggle betwee local and cloud sync, the button can also be used to toggle sync ON and OFF. The bottom right contains a link button, that takes you to the web portal to manage your Sticky Password account.
Features
Sticky Password account let’s you access all your passwords and saved information anywhere, anytime, on any of your connected devices. There are application for devices all of the most used devices like Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Android, so syncing across all the devices is easy. Moreover, the application comes with browser extensions and add-ons for multiple browsers like Firefox, Opera, Safari, Google Chrome, Maxthon and Internet Explorer. The add-ons allow quick access to your passwords, and let you edit, add, and delete data from database. It also detects fields that need to be filled on almost all the websites, so you can use Autofill and also save the passwords that you enter.
This application can also help you generate strong passwords for added security, they can be as long or complex as you want as they don’t need to be remembered anyway. Credit card info can also be saved, to speed up your shopping and checkout process, and make it more secure. All the data you store is encrypted using AES-256 encryption, that is the most used standard in the world at the moment. The auto-lock feature is also present, which locks your database if your PC is inactive for a certain period of time.
Moreover, there is a portable version of this application, so you can carry it around in your pendrive. You can also import data from other password managers. For people strictly concerned about privacy, there is a local sync option available, so your data is never sent to the cloud.
Pros
Clean UI
Support for multiple browsers and application for all major platforms
Passwords are grouped into categories
Auto-lock feature
Password generator
AES-256 encryption
Sync via Cloud servers or local Wi-Fi
Conclusion
Sticky Password Premium is a great tool for managing passwords, bookmarks, and other important details. It runs smoothly, utilizing only little system resources and not having an impact on PC performance at all. All the data saved is encrypted, and the option to sync locally provides an extra sense of security for concerned people.
When it comes to passwords, the first thing that comes to mind is security. Nearly all the tasks that you perform on the web requires some form of logging or account registration. As such, remembering all the details, especially passwords, can be an uphill task. To solve that problem, many password vaults already exist. Given that idea, my approach has been to find one that can secure all my passwords. Thankfully, I came across Sticky Password Premium that uses the AES-256 encryption. Here is what I found out.
All About First Impressions
The interface is quite intuitive. Although it is clear that Sticky Password Premium has a load of features and options, the UI’s layout removes the cluttered appearance as you might have expected. On launch, the program has a series of steps to take you through how to use. However, you can turn off the option after familiarizing yourself with the options. The program’s support for the common and extra browsers was also a positive note.
Quick and Effective Password Importation
When installing and running Sticky Password Premium, it was able to automatically import all my saved account details and their corresponding passwords across all the installed browsers. As such, the minimal manual input it required was very impressive.
Easily Create Portable Passwords
While on the go or travelling between cities, you might not carry along your PC. What did Sticky Password Premium do to cater for the needs of such people? The program has the Portable Passwords option in Quick Access to save a portable version on a flash stick that you can easily carry around.
Useful Online Identities
When signing up for different accounts, it is always tasking to have to fill long forms. As such, I found the Identities feature in Sticky Password Premium very helpful. I was able to add two identities; Social and Business. With those identities already set up, I have always enjoyed easy auto filling up forms just by choose the appropriate identity.
Important Autolock Feature
Provided Sticky Password Premium is running; someone else can quickly access your private or business accounts when you are away. Having noted that, the Autolock feature that is under Settings then Security can help you further boost the security level of your saved login details. You can choose to let it lock the program for even one minute of computer inactivity.
Flexible Synchronization
To start with, the Synchronization feature I was able to install Sticky Password Premium on multiple computers in my network. In turn, I was able to access all my saved passwords from any of the computers since the program supports Wi-Fi and local networks.
Con
No Quick Opt Out Option
While using Sticky Password Premium, I thought about deleting all my saved passwords. I could not find a one-time option to automatically carry out that task. As such, the other option was to manually delete each saved account.
Verdict
If you are tired of remembering all your password and want a solution that also provides a way to secure your saved passwords, then you should consider Sticky Password Premium. The program will even make your life easier with its synchronization options across multiple devices.
Absolutely indispensable software across all your devices. I bought the lifetime subscription to it 1 year ago and could not do without now. Do yourself a favour and buy the lifetime subscription!
i used to use norton identity for my password manager in the past. this works much better. works in any browser (norton stopped working in IE for me) and finds almost every login/password area.
I still have norton and sticky password running at the same time and sticky always works better.
i have been using this program for about 2 years.
Sticky password is a comprehensive security suite that relieves you from the headache that comes with remembering passwords –actually, a normal human can only remember well approximately 5 text-centric passwords. The software is available as a desktop version, online account, and mobile version, for both Android and Mac.
On signing up, the manufactures did a great job integrating a helpful wizard that’ll educate you on everything you should know about the software. It also has links to video tutorials. There’s a great deal of features performing many functions from the ability to save passwords securely and sync with other devices to storing secure memos. Actually, I found Sticky Password Premium to be one of the best software of its niche. However, it also has its downsides.
Pros
Intuitive User Interface
You’ve got to cherish the well-spaced and beautifully designed user interface. Everything from the passwords to the customization options is just a click away. The web version is beautifully designed and isn’t cluttered. Novice users will also appreciate the signup wizard that’ll help them learn every aspect of the software.
Supports multiple browsers
I have used Dashlane before and the problem I had with it’s their ignorance for supporting Opera browser. Sticky Password Premium has solved that problem for me. Besides, it supports all common browsers and less known ones like Sea Monkey, Thunder Bird, and Pale Moon. It also allows importing of passwords from other password managers or browsers.
Online and Local Sync
Your passwords are stored online securely and you can access them when on another authenticated devices over the cloud. Additionally, you can set up a local Wi-Fi sync to make passwords available to authorized devices across the local network.
Create multiple identities
Sometimes you want to use different identities for signing up to different websites. Sticky Password Premium will help you do that. Just select an identity on signup from the Sticky icon on the browser and it’ll fill in the details automatically. You can save as many identities as you need.
Seamless login to websites and apps
Log in to your websites and desktop applications automatically by clicking the Sticky Password icon. No more having Skype or other apps always logged in. This software will keep them secure. On the software, your passwords are organized properly for easy access.
More than just a password manager
The software can save bookmarks and memos, as well as organize your apps and passwords automatically. Generate strong passwords and securely add trusted devices that can access your passwords. You can also use a USB stick as a key, and completely delete your account information when you no longer need it.
Cons
You have to close the app manually every time you leave your PC
Unlike Dashlane which demands a master password every time you click to view a password, your passwords are plain to see on Sticky. If you happen to leave your PC on for a few minutes and somebody accesses it, they can easily copy passwords by simply clicking on view.
USB as master key
Also, USBs are easy to misplace. Since it opens up your account when plugged in to the computer, you don’t want it to fall in the wrong hands. They should have created a way to use it together with the master password.
Conclusion
I loved almost everything on Sticky Password Premium, from syncing between devices to ease of use. Aside from the few cons mentioned above, it’s a great software that’ll help you a lot.

Dennis, thank you for nice feedback to our password manager. We really appreciate it!
For the cons you mentioned:
“You have to close the app manually every time you leave your PC” – You can set autolock to any time of computer inactivity in settings under security tab.
“USB as master key” – this is just an alternative signup method.
I’ve used Sticky password for years and never had to close it manually. Did not set any special settings.
