After some investigation I believe the error is a free/opens/wan x509 error which was purportedly fixed in strongs/wan servers as well as on the Microsoft side. Obviously it still occurs. Here is a description of the problem

This is for anyone giving a Yahoo email address to get this app unlocked. I gave them my Yahoo email address first, and it didn’t work. I then gave my gmail address and it worked right away. I just thought I’d add this info here, for anyone who’s having trouble getting their copy of Google Clear activated.

The swan server error is an error generated on the server side using OpenSwan running on a Linux server. Periodically openswan servers will send an error message when packets are determined to be in error (for whatever reason-could be anything).

[@vedika] Swan server error? What the hell is that? o_O The download works just fine at our end. It could be your network.

    [@wmlagna] Thanks for the feedback!

Downloaded again and ignored the installer error message. Google Clean did install and ran just fine. I will give this a try as I have other Abelssoft programs which I do like. So my recommendation if anyone has the same problem I encountered is to simply ignore the installer error message and check to see if Google Clean is installed.

[@wmlagna] There is nothing wrong with the download file. I’ve tested it on two machines, multiple times — Win7 x64 and WinXP x86.

[@bho] You need to provide more information about what issue you are having if you want assistance. Saying “impossible to get the code!!!” doesn’t do any good.

Install failed on 2 different windows 7 64 bit laptops. Re-downloaded, uninstalled previous install, tried to install again – same result – failed. Lots of time wasted. Based on my experience and the comments of others, it is apparent that something is wrong with the download file.

Why does hitting one of the directional arrows on my keyboard erase the entire comment I was going to send you? Must be a bug somewhere. I intended to tell you that this new installation recognized the license from my old version

Thanks for re-affirming that Boss-Man. I’m a Lastpass user, so I almost shipped my pants when I read that first comment.

LastPass, which is a Google product, quits working. Will have to uninstall GoogleClean.
