And now, two weeks later, the registration magically disappeared – we have returned to “demo” mode with rips restricted to 15 minutes.

This is on a PC that no-one else uses, and that I only ever use for ripping.

Clearly, a sleazy move by a vendor who’s given out “free non-expiring licenses”.

I tried to get the Wonderfox DVD program and i went through the check out process but had to leave the house before it finished installing! When I got home, my computer was turned off for some reason so I booted it up and Wonderfox was installed but its just the trial version still! I never got an email with my activation key and information so I don’t know what to do! Please help, thanks!

Saving profiles does not seem reliable. Audio keeps switching back to “Smart” rather than AAC where I set it. Trying to rip multiple tracks results in the ripper getting stuck in a loop ripping the first track over and over and over. I left it overnight to do a 3 chapter DVD and in the morning I had twenty copies of chapter 1 and it was still running. Completed dialog does not come up in front – need to use ALT-TAB to bring it forward to fix otherwise apparently non-responsive app. (I’m on XP Pro, by the way)
But if you are really careful setting all the controls every time, it does rip.

    Hi professor,

For most of the videos and audios, 44100HZ – 48000HZ are the best choice. If you set a 96KHZ for common video, you will get the broken voice. As you said, maybe 96K/24B is is good for perfectly good recording. Anyway, thanks for your suggestion.

    Have a nice day!

How I really wanted to like this Software. Well, not so much!! It turns out that the program limits the audio output to 48kHz/16 bits. That really sucks if you have a perfectly good recording at 96kHz/24 bits. Uninstall and try again somewhere else :-(

Thank you Wonderfox for an uncomplicated download. No emails to deal with and the registration button is easy to find. Smooth as silk.
Like Penquin129 – comment 2- I too hate finding program folders in Documents.
    Thanks Ashraf.
How about some games like gotd where you can download the game and play it off line and you don’t have provide personal info and sign on to other hidden crap.
    Thanks again.

I guess this is another one of those programs that insists on putting a folder in the “My Documents”. No matter that I changed my output folder to another destination, it keeps creating its own folder in My Documents, and putting the program’s settings file inside another folder in that.

When will developers learn that people usually don’t want program garbage in their Documents folder? Why can’t this settings file go into the Program Files folder with the rest of the files that I don’t need to access?

Downloaded, installed, and registered in a snap. Decent program, although the “editing” is none existent. If they add the abilities to enhance / sharpen sections, crop, and merge to the converter they may have a winner. I haven’t tried ripping a DVD yet, but that should be a piece of cake. There are so many free decrypting programs out there that there isn’t any excuse for it not to be able to rip. Speaking of freebee’s, the price is out of line. $20.00 would be pushing it, especially without the editing abilities I already noted. Thanks for the opportunity to try this!
