Note 1: This uses GPS location from your phone. It will read data from your GPS on your phone while the watch is full display mode. Then the GPS is read for another 15 seconds as soon as the watch turns off or goes into ambient mode. After much testing this is the best battery life and performance.
Note 2: Some phones, particularly mine Note 3 running CM12, the Speed/Bearing will stick. If this happens, try shaking the phone. Otherwise reboot. Typically it has to do with moving from WiFi low GPS signal to no WiFi and strong GPS signal.
