QUE HACEMOS :
Recogemos a los animales encontrados en el término municipal de Cabrera de Mar. Los que no están identificados, los llevamos al refugio de Mataró y les buscamos una nueva familia. Los identificados se devuelven a su dueño.
Gestionamos las colonias de gatos de Cabrera de Mar (captura, esterilización, alimentación y los controles veterinarios de los animales) así como el fomento de las adopciones de los cachorros y algún gato de calle.
Hacemos campañas educativas en beneficio de los animales.
Participamos en las Ferias de nuestro Municipio, para recaudar donativos y tenemos socios que colaboran económicamente con una pequeña cuota de 5 euros al mes, que hace posible el sustento de la Asociación. Todo el dinero recaudado en las diferentes fuentes de financiación se destina íntegramente a los animales. Todas las personas que colaboran, trabajan y participan en la asociación lo hacen de forma voluntaria.
OBJETIVOS:
Educar
Colaboramos en la creación i la difusión de una cultura substentada en el conocimiento, consideración y respeto hacia los animales.
Concienciar
Uno de nuestros principales motores de actuación es la difusión de un mensaje de tenencia responsable, especialmente entre los más jóvenes, haciendo especial énfasis en la problemática del abandono.
Fomentar las adopciones
Desde nuestra asociación dedicamos muchos esfuerzos para conseguir que la gente que decide tener un animal de compañía se decante por la adopción. Queremos que la sociedad sepa que con cada adopción estamos llevando a cabo dos acciones muy necesarias. Por un lado, el adoptante satisface su deseo de tener un animal de compañía, mientras que por otro lado estamos ayudando a muchísimos animales que han sido abandonados por sus dueños.
Mediante las adopciones damos una nueva oportunidad, una nueva familia y un nuevo hogar a los animales que viven en nuestros refugios. Además, las adopciones son fundamentales para desocupar espacio y poder dar acogida a nuevos animales sin tener que practicar la eutanasia como medida para descongestionar los refugios.
Como lo hacemos
Dando a conocer cuál es la realidad de los animales abandonados.
Colaborando con las instituciones para que se hagan campañas divulgativas.
Poniendo en marcha campañas para posicionar la adopción como alternativa a la compra.
Fomentando la esterilización como medida para evitar el futuro abandono de los animales nacidos por "accidente".
Mediante jornadas educativas en escuelas, ya que los niños y los jóvenes son el futuro y éste podrá ser diferente en la medida en que aprendan a respetar y cuidar los animales desde pequeños.
Concienciando a los propietarios de los animales para conseguir que los identifiquen correctamente con el chip.
Fomentando la convivencia entre las personas y los animales.
Defendiendo los derechos de los animales frente a las agresiones de los humanos.

WHAT DO WE DO :
We collect the animals found in the town of Cabrera de Mar. Those who are not identified, we took them to the shelter of Mataro and seek them a new family. The identified are returned to their owner.
We manage colonies of cats Cabrera de Mar (capture, sterilization, food and veterinary checks on animals) and the promotion of adoptions of puppies and a cat on the street.
