I do not know much about this offer other than it is substantially less than a completely free book database and book cataloging software called “Calibre.” Which, is completely free unless you care to donate to the worldwide group of folks who actually seem to work continually adding features and/or fixing anything users submit requests for. it can be found here: https://calibre-ebook.com/download

Well, that was embarrassing … for AEM Alpha Ebooks Manager:

It took 1/2 hour for AEM Alpha Ebooks Manager to crash out attempting to scan one of my many successful ( ALWAYS FREE ) calibre-ebook.com library.

AEM Alpha Ebooks Manager saved absolutely NOTHING in it’s 1/2 hour scan.

Apparently the AEM Alpha Ebooks Manager programmers do not know how to build a database one record at a time so that ONLY the last record is lost when it crashes, so I would NEVER TRUST that they can do anything else with a database.

So then I imported only ONE book as a test … then found that the included Alpha Ebooks Reader has absolutely no way on screen to turn the pages in an opened book — that’s not a reader, that’s a tease — is this an early April 1st giveaway?

I limited my next scan to ONLY .mobi … and … 467 books later,

NO BOOK COVERS on the shelf ( oh yeah, browse THAT ! ),

all 467 book have the same BLANK cover ( oh yeah, browse THAT ! ),

    — and all authors showed NO BOOKS to their credit. 0, ZERO, ( oh yeah, browse THAT ! ).

Aside from a complete and total waste of time, does AEM Alpha Ebooks Manager have ANY PURPOSE AT ALL ? ! ?
    __________

    Conclusion, pitiful, pitiful conclusion:

AEM Alpha Ebooks Manager is NERF PUTTY — Not Ready For Prime Time Yet.

This isn’t even ‘alpha’ programming quality, let alone a ‘beta’ test, and they expect to CHARGE for this?

What come’s before ‘alpha’ in programming development … BAN, Back Of Napkin?

Well then, BAN Alpha Ebook Manager.

NO ONE has any competition here,

    — not Kovid Goyal’s incredible and constantly updated ALWAYS FREE Calibre-Ebook.com database, library manager, reader, full editor, and so much more,

    — not ALWAYS FREE Adobe Digital Editions library manager and reader,

    — not ALWAYS FREE Amazon Kindle library manager and reader,

… c’mon, folks, name your other ALWAYS FREE ebook managers, readers, and editors, so AEM Alpha Ebooks Manager programmers know what they can download ALWAYS FREE to show them how other people actually accomplish something useful.

I will not even waste my time critiquing the obscure, ambiguous, and confusing user interface.

NERF PUTTY — beware, do NOT waste your time on AEM Alpha Ebooks Manager.
