I like this:
“there is no need to register it, we automatically register it when you download from us”
Nice programe!user777GuestASHRAF,AlomWare,

It is necessary to save the settings?
It is necessary to save the installer?

I do not understand how can I install the program in a month.Nick HGuest[@AlomWare] I tried installing this on a Win 7 64-bit system yesterday. I see a desktop icon and another one in the system tray, there are entries in the start menu too. No matter which item I click on, left and right clicks, nothing whatsoever happens other than a small window stating that there may be a more up to date version of the software available. I restarted the system, then uninstalled and re-installed the program, then restarted the PC again, noting happens still.
I install my software on a different partition to the OS on C:\, could that be anything to do with the issue?
@Ashraf – the hub downloader didn’t work for me yesterday again, I downloaded it manually instead, which makes more sense to me anyway as the hub download is approximately twice the size of the actual program. The hub has no method to select a different location other than the c:\ ‘Download’ folder, which I don’t use for anything. I want to have control over what happens. Why does the hub think that it can decide what to do on my computer? If the hub is the only way to download software from SOS from now on, could the users have the option to choose where to download please? I’ve seen other comments along these lines, particularly from people with small SSD drives who don’t want endless programs self-selecting to install and download on drives that the users want to keep solely for the OS. Recently the option of the notifier has not been there whenever I’ve downloaded any of the interesting software that you offer here, it re-appeared today. I didn’t install it as I don’t want it, the email notifications and website inform me well enough.GaryGuestI downloaded the program before the platforms supported changed; I also saved the original Technical Details text, which included XP and 64-bit. In the forum, it was stated that there was a problem with XP and also 64-bit OS, as if there was a problem with 64-bit OSes, aside from the XP issue. It was also stated that the supported platforms was updated so as not to create any more confusion, but right now, the supported platforms still lists 64-bit as being supported. Does that mean that one of the two problems has been fixed?
Also, will there be an update to Sharewareonsale.com users that downloaded the original version that failed for some OS versions? I really would like to try this on an XP PRO SP3 (32-bit) OS.AlomWareGuest[@Gary]
Hi Gary, the issue was for XP only, not for 64bit PCs. There’s a system file on XP that is different to Windows 7 and later, hence the problem.
When the app is installed and running, just open its window via the system tray or default hockey of Win+A.

We’re working on an XP fix but it won’t be ready in time for this promo. Email us at [email protected] to discuss.
AshrafKeymaster[@Nick H] Hi Nick. Thank you for the feedback! We actually just pushed an update — please see http://sharewareonsale.com/sharewareonsale-download-hub-changes-oct-2016/6005187
[@user777] If you keep the installer, you should be able to reinstall at any time as per the dev’s instructions.
[@AlomWare] I commend you for actively providing support here. Kudos!
Nick HGuest[ @Ashraf] You’re welcome Ashraf, I was impressed with how quickly you implemented the changes I was asking for!
@AlomWare – I’d appreciate a response to my question in a post just above this one please, I’d like to try this software out and haven’t been able to so far.

Sorry Nick, I missed your question. When you click the system tray icon, the app’s window opens on your desktop. Same if you double-click the app’s executable again, and when you press its hotkey (Win+A by default). Are you saying that NONE of these things show AlomWare Action’s window? This doesn’t seem right.
AlomWareGuestit was stated that there was a problem with XP and also 64-bit OS, as if there was a problem with 64-bit OSes, aside from the XP issue.
Hi Gary, when I said “incompatible with XP and 64bit systems” I meant XP and 64bit together, not XP or 64bit systems being two separate entities. Sorry for the confusion! We have since discovered the problem and will have a fixed version in the coming days that will run on XP 32bit without problems.
sonycGuestThank you for this great program!
Nick HGuest[@AlomWare] Thanks for your reply, I replied to it a while ago but it has not appeared on here yet.
None of those methods manage to open the program. I’ll see if re-installing it works, clearing out all traces of the previous installations beforehand. As I mentioned before, could it be because I chose to install the program on a different partition to the one with the OS on?
Nick HGuest[@Nick H]I downloaded the program again, just in case the original download had got corrupted, it is named differently but the checksum is the same. I installed it in the same drive as the OS with the same result – nothing happens. I uninstalled it and re-installed it again on another partition, nothing doing again. This was after I’d disabled any software that I thought might be causing a conflict, it just doesn’t like my computer, good luck with your future work.
AlomWareGuest[@Nick H] Sorry to hear of your on-going problems, Nick. We’re in that undesirable situation of the app working fine for 99% of users, but with something going wrong on your PC. This makes it hard to diagnose and decide how to proceed with a “fix” (if any is needed). The app uses standard Windows hotkey procedures and GUI routines, so there’s nothing that should stop it working.
All I can suggest is try it again with maybe your anti-virus disabled (temporarily) to see if that’s silently blocking the app, or maybe even after booting your PC in Safe Mode to rule out that some other thing is conflicting with it. If it works with your anti-virus disabled, or in Safe Mode, then it proves the app is working fine and your PC’s setup is indeed the cause.
AlomWare Actions is a fairly new app, only launched earlier this year, but we’ve had nothing but positive feedback and good reviews (and sales) so far. If this was a major issue, it would’ve been reported everywhere by now. For balance, here’s some third-party independent reviews that would not exist if the problem were widespread:
