I’ve also used the free version of this software for many years, its what Windows Task Manager could/should have been. Its far more flexible, responsive, informative(insert other adjectives!) than the Windows one. I recommend it highly. Thanks for this offer.

Disregard my previous post. Based on the “Terms and Conditions” section it would appear that AmVir Task Manager Pro is the program being offered. Sorry. Not enough coffee yet.

Virus total told me 4, One of which said it contained a Backdoor virus.
Can someone explain if this is virus free software? Normally one detection out of 53 on Virus Total means false positive, but this one is showing 4?

The registration code won’t work. Says the code is for the Pro version.

Don’t bother… it doesn’t work. I downloaded the program using the supplied link and when I tried to register the program I got and error message saying my key was for Taskthing pro and I was running the regular version. I directed me to a download page where I downloaded and installed the pro version. Trying to register that gave me another error saying I again had the wrong key and should use another version. Trying one more time with the regular version I got the error again saying I had the key for the pro version. I give up. It looks like a good program but the fact that they didn’t test this stuff out better makes my wonder about the code.
Risky, this software downloads ‘other’ application on your system, so watch out..
