I’ve used Atlantis v1.0.0 (free version called “Nova” !) since 2005 and I use the payed version since 2013 and the v1.6.
Very very good program : lightweight, use a low amount of memory and CPU (for old computers) but with a very fast loading.
Many useful features.
For people who want to buy license later, it is frequently updated (real updates, with new features!). Last update on april 2019.
APPRECIABLE : pour les utilisateurs francophones, une vraie documentation existe en “bon français” et est très complète en plus…I like it because it lets me do what I want, quickly. I dislike MS Word because it assumes it knows what I want to do and constantly gets in the way when we disagree. I’ve used Atlantis to write documents, but also to capture long web pages and music scores (grab a screen shot, paste it into Atlantis, repeat). Then I can add my own comments, scale things the way I want, and get a clean printout when needed. Faster than Libre Office Write, and does everything I typically need in a word processor. I recommend this one, even without trying the newest release!
I am having trouble getting a complete download of Atlantis Word Processor.
Any suggestions would be helpfulWow, tiny and fast! It even handled my old Office 2007 SR3’s Word documents almost perfectly! :O
