Hi. Must the 2 disks be of the same size or just enough room would be sufficient ? Also what is the speed for instance for cloning a 1 tera disk ?
Thanks, works like a charm. Fast, easy, even a fast disk check that shows a large HD as healthy while some apps were warning on it being weak in some sectors down to 63%. Never had any issues with it so comforting for now to keep it as dual backup (yes 2 backups). This app also can clone SSD in various ways like to HD or external drive, etc. Haven’t tested as to speed but if that’s as slick as rest of the goods then a real keeper. Oh, can make an ISO file to run on a bootable environment WinPE.

I see you have to click the Activation key on the lower left hand corner to input your key.
Dean[@Dean] Sorry, there is nothing there for me to click. Maybe it is because I already had a previous version that was registered? I had to uninstall v 2.8 first before installing this v 2.9, but I am not seeing any place to enter the registration key given this time for Windows.
Trying to register the program. Keep getting an invalid key error message. Can you help?

EvanI’ve downloaded AweClone from sharewareonsale.com today, installed it and entered the supplied registration code and am getting an ‘Activation failed’ pop-up. The registration code that I entered is the one that I got from the website when I downloaded it.
I had an earlier version of AweClone – v.2.8 installed previously and I’d uninstalled it before trying to install and register v. 2.9, hoping to avoid any issues like the one that I have now.
I uninstalled v.2.9 and tried re-installing it, I got the same ‘Activation failed’ notice. I saw the advice to disable any anti-virus software and did do that as well as making sure that the firewall was not blocking the activation. I’ve used Magoshare software before on several PCs and never had any issues like this before.
I sent the above message to Magoshare support.

If you are using VPN, turn it off or change your network.”
I’d already told them that I’d disabled the AV and checked that the firewall was not blocking the registration process. I was not using a VPN.
Their response comes across as aggressive, making assumptions and useless. Washing their hands of any responsibility.
I won’t be using anything from Magoshare in the future and will recommend that people avoid using their products.
I’d already told them that I’d uninstalled the product, restarted the PC, reinstalled AweClone and it still would not register. I’ve installed and
registered Magoshare products before – AwClone, DataRecovery etc without this sort of issue on PCs which are set up similarly.
I’m not the only person who has treid to install it through this SOS offer and had problems. Magoshare have made no response here either.

Thanks for saving me the hassle of trying again, NH. I have now found a good software that does the job. EaseUS ToDo Backup and it’s free.
Companies have got to realize it is the people trying their products that can, and often do, make them or break them.
[@DJ] You are welcome, companies (and individuals) deserve to be called out when they show a lack of respect for other people. Respect, civility etc are lacking where Magoshare are concerned in the dealings I had with them. I emailed them in reply to their arrogant response, I kept it civil, there was no reply. I won’t call them what I would like to here…….
