Hello,
unfortunately the Windows 64 version does not work for me :-(
I have followed everything as indicated. I closed all virus and malware programs during the download and installation. The software is also installed without any problems and the activation with the code also worked straight away.
When I then want to start the software, a window appears as follows:
AweClone
Failed to open partition or disk:
OKWhat am I doing wrong?

Don’t bother. Use a free Macrium Reflect, and you will be happy.
I have windows 8.1 / 64.
I downloaded AweClone on the previous hand and I have the same thing on launch: Failed to open partition or disk.Downloaded and installed and registered flawlessly . . . oops . . . same error Failed to open partition or disk.
Looks like a lovely, simple program. Sad about the failure-to-launch.
I am not sure why this keeps getting offered here when each time it has the same error. Maybe this error should be addresses before it is offered again?
Doesn’t work for me I just get a message saying ‘Failed to open partition or disk’ I’m on W10, 8gb ram, i3 processor.

I second that.An for those wondering, there is no built in way for this program to create a bootable media to run from. The program must be installed on an operating system to run it.
How is it that the vendor has not addressed the FAILED TO OPEN issue that so many of us are having?!?
I download a free trial version, and get a license code. However, I don’t know where to activate it. There is no registration window. I am using Win 7 64
