108MB seems huge for backup software – why so big?
Also, it would be nice if there was a comparison matrix to the PRO version – couldn’t find one.

Based on you knowing that the download file is 108MB, to get a key you undoubtedly went to the page linked on the Sharewareonsale.com download page. Just under the section on that page where you fill out to get a key, there is a short comparison matrix, and a link to a much larger comparison matrix.

Normally, the Pro edition has been $20 more than the Standard edition, but due to a sale or lowering of price by $10, makes it $10 more than the Standard edition. For Sharewareonsale.com users, the Pro edition is an extra $49.99.

There is a comparison between editions here: Compare Backup4all Editions

In regards with the size, it includes several languages, graphics and other necessary files. 100Mb is not that big, given how large HD drives are now. The file is also served via CDN, so it will be transferred fast.
