    [ @Ashraf]

Only 1 year license for Bitlocker and what we will do with crypted disk after? Long term trial offer. Usefulness.

[@Eduard] Please don’t worry, accessing the BitLocker drive is a built-in feature of Windows 10/8/7, so as long as the computer is running Windows 10/8/7, you still can access the BitLocker drive normally, even if no BitLocker Anywhere is installed on the computer.

If disk is encrypted, does that prevent ransom-ware attacks?

It sounds like this Haselo software is a front-end tool to enable and manage bit-locker encryption. Once everything is set up, does Windows 10/64 Home take over, or does Bitlocker Anywhere need to run all the time?

What is the danger, after 1 year “trial” ends, in having an encrypted drive that Windows can still access? Will backup software, and MS One-Drive, and disk partitioning software, and third-party file managers (i.e., Free Commander XE) still work?

If I re-install Windows, will it still know to how to access my data? Re-install seems to be Microsoft’s standard response to any problems, so it’s inevitable with Windows 10.

[@Mr.Dave] Bitlocker Anywhere is not just a front-end tool, after analyzing the BitLocker encrypted partition hundreds of times, we finally implemented the BitLocker encryption algorithm ourselves, which is fully compatible with the Windows BitLocker encryption algorithm, this is why we have BitLocker Anywhere MAC and Linux versions. After partition encryption is complete, Windows takes over all, and as long as you have the correct access password, you can access the encrypted drives normally, even if you reinstall Windows or connect the drive to another computer.

Like we said earlier, BitLocker a built-in feature of Windows 10/8/7, so there will be nothing we can do about it if a third-party software does not support BitLocker encrypted drives.

    Hi.
    I got this one recently.
I don’t know what happened before but the program is not registered anymore.
ANd it is saying that the trial period ended for my product key when I try to decrypt the drive.
What do I do in this case?
I would like to decrypt the drive.
    Thank you.
