GuestSilver Efex Pro 2 is the way to go if you are looking for excellent FREE software for B&W conversions. The NIK software suite used to cost $350 or so, but has been available free since March 2016, after being acquired by Google. I’ve been using the programs, including Silver Efex, and they are excellent, and plug easily into Photoshop CC (and possible some earlier) PS versions. GuestI feel as if I’ve fallen for product testing from this firm before. What good is testing software free for thirty days if it is not a fully functional download. Putting watermarks on all the photographs did one thing for me . . . I immediately uninstalled the software ( . . . as I have done previously with test software from the same developer). What a waste of time.

GuestCan anyone confirm that, as Gordon mentions, this particular piece of software puts a watermark on everything and is only fully functional for 30 days? The description certainly does not warn of this, and I agree it would be a deal-killer.

No, it’s not true.
