This is a pretty good program, but some time ago I made the switch to a program called Spartan that is better IMO.

I was going to update my version of Clipdiary thanks to this offering, but I received errors. As I am using Spartan now, I just deleted the download and uninstalled Clipdiary.

This is worth comparing – all programs are acquired tastes, and you may like this and get along with it, or not.

The goal is to have Windows clipboard remember everything, and this does a reasonable job BUT

This does NOT save each snipped as a separate file, and cannot export it’s contents 0 that is a serious and deal-breaking failure for me.

    Installation problems:

1 – it claims the old version must be closed, even though the old version is closed, so ignore the error and continue, it installs in spite of it’s own meaningless error.

2 – when copying in the license, do NOT include the word “License: ” at the front of the license.

Let us know what other programs you compare this to, and how this and other programs work for you.

Thanks [@John], I’ll check out Spartan – why do you like it more, what does it do better?

Thanks for letting us explore this and share.
