The program is asking for a serial number not the two step registration where I first put in user ID then registration code. The registration code does not work in the seral number box.

BillI had downloaded some of FRANZIS programs before, so when I clicked on the link, it asked for my email & when I typed it in, it told me that I had an account there from before. So I logged in & immediately got the email with the registration code & my customer number. And the email gave me a link to download the software without having to go through sharewareonsale. I downloaded from their site, installed & input the code & it worked perfectly.
I also downloaded from the sharewareonsale link as well to compare, & the WIN versions were identical. If you download from the link in the email, you get the WIN & the MAC versions.After spending lots of time, I was unable to follow the confusing instructions to get the program up and running. Very frustrating!

Thank you for your kind offering of Cutout 8.
Unfortunately I cannot install it on my Mac (MacBook Pro, MacOS 10.15.7)
Each time I try I get the same messages about the developer not being identifiable. My Security & Privacy settings are set to allow apps from both the Apple Store and from identified developers. On the last two installation attempts I probed deeper into your developer certificates and discovered the certificate for Cutout expired in 2021. As I can only install apps which either come from the Apple Store or “identified developers” (that is, developers with up-to-date certificates with Apple) I seem to be stuck. Is there a way to get around this installation issue?

When registration becomes this convoluted, it just isn’t worth trying to get an already older version of this software.
Downloaded and installed the program without any issues. Could not get a registration key. I followed the link and filled out that page. Unable to fill out the second page as it is for registered users. Please send a registration key.
I have tried and tried to get the registration key. On the Franzis website it shows I have Cutout-8 but when I try to download the key from there…nothing. Solution?
I tried and tried to get the registration key for CutOut 8. On Franzis website it shows I have Cutout-8 installed but when I try to download the key from there…nothing. It says it has been sent but never arrives in email. I have created a second email, [email protected] but the problem is the same.
After entering my information Your website says key is emailed then goes to another page that displays the following:
“Almost done – your license-key will arrive shortly by E-Mail”
then displays a status bar that stays at hangs 87%
“please check your Inbox and copy the key into your installer. ”This is followed by an ad for Ultimate advantage-package including HDR projects 7 Pro

The same FRANZIS page displayed for me and also was at the 87% level at the end, but don’t worry that it appears to be hung. The 87% is merely a graphic image that is just to make it look like the process is nearly finished. You can verify that by right clicking on the 87% image, and selecting to open it in another tab. Everyone should see the same.
Regardless of all that, the e-mail is still sent (I got mine). In your e-mail do a Global search for CutOut. If the e-mail is in any folder (Inbox, SPAM, etc.), the search should find it.

I already had an account with Franzis from previous giveaways.
I uninstalled CutOut 6 Standard and 7 Standard.
I installed CutOut 8 Standard.
I went to registration page, entered my email and since they found it in their database, they asked for my password.
Entered password, got email right away with license code.
Entered code into program.
All is good!
