I was thinking about purchasing this deal. On the surface sounds like a good deal, even with the limitation of using a browser to make all transfers. But doing a Google search of the product led me to a review at https://www.tomsguide.com/reviews/degoo-review
where 9 users commented about losing their lifetime account due to a Degoo bot scanning their files and finding copyrighted files.
WHAT?? Scanning MY backed up files? Finding copyrighted files? I have plenty of copyrighted files that I paid for on my hard drive, and with 10 TB of storage, the 2nd thing I would backup as soon as I have my hard drive backed up would be any physical program DVDs I BOUGHT AND PAID FOR in case of fire or theft. Why else have cloud storage, but to have a safe, offsite storage in case of physical disaster to my PC and home.
I certainly wouldn’t trust my fate to a BOT, and according to reviews you have 1 and only 1 chance to appeal to a human at the service.Until this is rectified, I think this is a very risky deal.
Before learning of this issue, I thought the deal was a great value.
