ChrisGuestFirst offm how about a discount offer for this?
Second, hate the new downloader thing, it makes your site like those other crappy sites, plus it timed out and told me to try later.
HazimlGuestIts downloaded with no problem but it can not be installed (Program will terminate please try again) and the same even I tried five times.
HCFGuest[@Haziml] Same thing happened to me. “Program can’t download installation files. Program will terminate …”.
Brian MerskeyGuestI have downloaded twice and get the same result that it says that the program cant be run on Win *.1 even though I am using Win 10.
I noticed that it had been updated but no joy.MaschiGuestHello Ashraf, hello DocuCan:
Can the software also encode the documents,
or can be protected it with a password?
On the homepage of the manufacturer
I have found in addition no information.
Larry BallingerGuestencountering the same issue trying to download the program receiving the ‘Program can’t download installation files. Program will terminate’
Any help would be appreciated.
Steph RobertGuestHello Ashraf and Docucan,
Thanks for your daily work and softwares.
I have the following issue:
When installing i have the message :
“ERROR – DocuCan 1.6.0 is not allowed to run on WinXP (5.1) -Setup Aborted ! ”
It’s strange as it is written on your website that it supports Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8/8.1, and 10 (32-bit and 64-bit)
Can you tell me if this issue can be fixed or if it’s not compatible with Windows XP.PS: I have found the new download hub not easy to use. No choice of destination hard drive either destination folder.
O. LamoreeGuestRequiring installation of MS Office to view Office documents is the killer for me. Say I mark a LibreOffice document as .docx and then try to open it again… without MS Office installed… no go. So maybe call this DOCUCAN for MS Office, instead.
DocuCan SupporyGuestHi Larry, currently DocuCan cannot encode the documents and has no additional password protection. However this is something that we could add to a future version.
Regards,
Gary
DocuCan SupportB ZGuestI had similar Error message when i tried to install the program:
“ERROR – DocuCan 1.6.0 is not allowed to run on Win 8.1 -Setup Aborted ! ”
I use Windows 10 (32Bit).
I had copy and save the DocuCan.exe 75,8 MB (79.542.328 byte) from “your username/AppData/local/Temp” folder that the SharewareOnSale_Giveaway_Aug-4-2016_DocuCan_hub.exe place it temporary to some other folder and tried to install it again but same error msg appeared.
So I downloaded the Trial Version (32bit) of the program { DocuCanWin32.exe } from it site http://www.docucan.co.uk/ which it had diffrent size 72,3 MB (75.858.680 byte) and i install and register it with the given key. That worked.
Robert BaterGuestDear Shareware on sale. I love you site but doesn’t like the new shareware icon and program which makes you install further alerts on future programs. It doesn’t work for a start. Please bring back the no nonsense software download with no attached crap. By all means give people the option of downloading the shareware reminder but please not every time you download a program. Im sure most people who download from this site will agree. Keep it simple. Thank for a great site
DocuCan SupporyGuestHello Steph,
We will look into this issue and get back to you.
Regards,
Gary Moore
DocuCan SupportJames P PetersGuestJust downloaded version from Cheapskates offer and reg code you sent me is said to be “invalid.” Please send valid reg code!
