On the SOS page, the Fast Video Downloader is 100% FREE, but when you try to download the program they ask for money! Also, on the SOS page, it says: 1 year , 1 computer, while the payment is only for a 3 month license. I think the people at Fast Video Downloader, are very dishonest and greedy…. Once, we have already purchased a license from these people, and after activation, a week or two later it reverted to “UREGISTERED COPY” I hope Ashraf will take this on board…

Sounds like that score was from VirusTotal ? 2 / 71 is consistent with false positives, however it really matters which AV scanners we’re talking about: some of them (like BitDefender, Eset, Sophos — for example) should carry real weight, others are pretty negligible in terms of their rep.
I found this video capture app to be one of the 3 best that I’ve used in the last couple years, but my issues with it were different. I had some important questions before I would purchase a license, which I posed on their website via “Contact Us.” The result was a boilerplate non-response from their designated reseller, Paddle. I didn’t want to talk to Paddle, I wanted to hear authoritatively, from the developer ! In view of this, I think I’ll stick with using one of the other 3 video downloaders (TubeDigger), which is probably the best of the three, and which has a vastly more favorable license.
